But again, if you guys xprocdannygeni have the money and willing to splurge, i would suggest going for dahon/tern/khs or any other foldie with more gears. you dont want to make ppl wait for you in group rides, unless if you are like me, just riding with wife without any thing to rush.

my story purchase at kimbell as follows

jimmy say raleigh better ride compare to my C7S, but he say after fold it then i will choose C7S...

then he folds it

then i brought C7S...

but i think soon i will pass this to my gf and brought another one... coz now two people only one bicycle... so still cycling this and looking forward to buy another.... wait me cycle more first before buy the next one

i choose C7S instead C7A because of the price... but a bit regret lor... should get broadwalk... nvm newbie just cycle first lor....

the best lighting are still those using normal battery..
I used 2 cateye on both my bike.. if halfway run out of power..can still buy at any 7/11 or mamak stalls..
I used to use those rechargeable creek lighting..but always forgot to charge..

ohh.. I strongly recommend install an air horn on your bike..very useful..
even my mtb I also installed 1..

Imduno about others but i only lube when i sees the chain is dry. And qith my current riding pattern, it would be quite some time between lubing. biggrin.gif

Chain dry is better than wet.

When it is wet, you can see the light reflection. It makes me feel uneasy because it is OIL there..

When it is dry, i like it. But the chair looks blackie because of the lube dried and deposited like solid as the sand/dust stick to it. So eventually i become uneasy as well.

While cycling, it is easy to notice the chain rubbing the teeths sound. That is how i gauge when to lube. I have yet to lube my chain with proper lube (using singer oil all this while)

So, i bought this for Rm50. Before using it, i need to clean my chain first, might as well give a SPA to my UGO too. Dishwasher liquid is ready. Just need a time and little bit of effort/discipline to move my butt to clean. Hahaha.

R.N.Samy bicycle shop seems pretty good with lots of selections.
The Raleigh UGO is Rm750.00
Friendly service
I found USJ bicycle shop to be quite expensive, rude and arrogant when i went there and the owner spoke as if i was a little kid, you know like he was ta;king down on me rather then answering my simple questions.
The Raleigh UGO was Rm920.00 nett there, but what really made me angry was his attitude, and i told him off in a very firm manner , which he sort of went off as i told him, he should do his homework 1st before talking crap.

Opinion needed.
I have a l MTB and am looking for a reasonable Folding Bike...
Raleigh UGO..Rm750.00
Or better ..my budget is around 1.5K maximum..dont want to spend too much, although i can afford it as i also jog , swim and work out at the GYM.
Any suggestions plse ??
Thanks

Thanks,
I forgot to mention that i have tested a VOLCANO Folding bike, 21 speed bike at Taman Melawati yesterday which was for Rm850.00,but since i never heard of VOLCANO bike before , i walked away , but i am still open to opinions, if anyone cares to share his/her experience on this.
many say the UGO seems better , i may spend slightly more to get a better folding bike as i believe its money well invested , but i need experienced forum members help here in what may be a better bike and where i can get it at..my budget is 1.5K
Anyone , thanks... icon_question.gif

If you can tolerate the squeaky metal sound that comes from folding part of stem post in UGO, then you can get it.

Brake pad may give some loud sound when u brake. It is annoying but it is good to let people know your presence when you brake or sudden brake.

At first, i was thinking to get AirZound (horn like LORRY) but i think my brake pads works the same. LOL.
