Are there any bikes available for rent? With full guarantee of course.

Would like to try out for a week before committing resources to buy a good bike.

Also are foldies allowed onto the LRT and Monorail? Thanks!

Not sure if got foldable bike for rent.
But MTB or road bike maybe got at FRIM, Putrajaya and Taman Botani Bukit Cahaya.
U try google bicycle rent FRIM, there are some shop renting bike ask them if they rent foldable.

I would say u will not wrong either you go dahon and tern. Both are good brand. Although my own preference is dahon. Dahon is also cheaper than tern. With your spec, Dahon C7A you can get ever cheaper than tern link c7, they are both more or less the same u know. U search few thread back someone buy it at BU with cheaper price compare to tern.
And if comparing your budget you might want to consider XDS, Moongose, or Trinx for more gear ratio option. At least you not only stuck with 7 gear. Just ask yourself what you want.

Ok... Guys...

I hv narrowed down my selection to 2...
Either Xds Afb630 or Java Fit... Both offer 16 speeds & are priced almost same.

What is your final advice which 1 to get???

Please help.
Thanks

For me 451 is a limitation..
Wit 406 I can jz change to bigger tyre n enjoy some gravel path.. n more comfy ride..

For those wana cycle for leisure, wit 1k u can get xds wit complete mudguard n rack.
Mudguard even aft rainy days u can enjoy cycling ...

Dahon prices have come down recently, 1.5k can get u Dahon Speed P8 with spare change at Joo Ngan Son, but bear in mind those are the ones with not-as-good components as the pre-2012 models, but i've just picked up one and honestly the components are not too bad actually.

top it up with RM 80 u can even get Mu P8 from Sew Leong Cycles in Dengkil
Tern Link D8 goes for about 17xx in Sew Leong too
