I would say u will not wrong either you go dahon and tern. Both are good brand. Although my own preference is dahon. Dahon is also cheaper than tern. With your spec, Dahon C7A you can get ever cheaper than tern link c7, they are both more or less the same u know. U search few thread back someone buy it at BU with cheaper price compare to tern.
And if comparing your budget you might want to consider XDS, Moongose, or Trinx for more gear ratio option. At least you not only stuck with 7 gear. Just ask yourself what you want.

Thanks bro! yeah saw Vybe C7A around 800+. btw where's BU?

QUOTE(180jin @ Sep 8 2014, 07:35 PM)
Dahon prices have come down recently, 1.5k can get u Dahon Speed P8 with spare change at Joo Ngan Son, but bear in mind those are the ones with not-as-good components as the pre-2012 models, but i've just picked up one and honestly the components are not too bad actually.

top it up with RM 80 u can even get Mu P8 from Sew Leong Cycles in Dengkil
Tern Link D8 goes for about 17xx in Sew Leong too
*
Really? I thought Speed P8 and Mu P8 around 2K+. Didn't expect those models you mentioned around that price. Since I'm still new with those specs etc. What's the different between those 2? better get MU P8 instead right? Thanks for the info mate. Will check them out.

Are there any bikes available for rent? With full guarantee of course.

Would like to try out for a week before committing resources to buy a good bike.

Also are foldies allowed onto the LRT and Monorail? Thanks!
*
Foldies are allowed only during non peak hours 9am-5pm
Full day for off peak / non working day. There's a special lane that is wider easier for your bike to get in.
Also bag ur foldie,my first time bringing my foldie on last sunday Car Free day. sweat.gif

Since the diffrence is just RM 78, propose to take C7A aluminium becos lighter.
Unless you really intend to abuse your bike kau kau then take the steel version.
Both are good bikes actually.

Steel version foldies are nicer to ride on the road as steel can soak vibration on road better...it's heavier on the move .

Alloy is lighter to carry but very harsh to ride on the road,....

Btw im selling my dahon vigor p9 upgraded to p20 . for 3k . PM me if u are interested.
