Really? No Dahon Curve at all available in Malaysia?

Am I the only weird guy who thinks the Dahon Curve is THE folding bike to get?

Just double checking before I take the plunge of importing it.  sweat.gif
*
yes...
they only imported those 20" foldies..
16" dahon only have during 2009-2010..they discontinued due to poor demand..
but i am looking for 1 tooooo.... sad.gif

if any of you guys/gals who have the kukuxumusu edition curve d3.. do pm me...

Buy another cheap light tht can fit, tis wan tie to seat etc using cable tie etc..
*
Never thought about cable tie, but I was looking for other lights, all of them also for smaller diameter. The clasp is pretty standard type (the screw type) only a few expensive one use getah type of stuff.

I think I'll try your 2nd suggestion. Thanks!

just saw a new series of Trinx folding bike on BBS yesterday, KA2016D and KA2016, both 16 (2 x 8) speeds. Frame looks like the old Dahon Vitesse, alloy but with steel fork.

Components look decent though, Shimano Claris stuffs and Prowheel crankset, but china made brakes (Zoom brand) lol..

ok la for 8xx

dahon curve is brompton clone

it was in R&D for years before they actually released it

may be they are waiting for design patent (brompton) to be expired before releasing it

dahon qik can be strolled easily after folding

I dunno how "expensive" is ur expensive and how low the price u wanna target
u might be able to find some light EIOSIX wheelsets,
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z0k...._u=51uciq7s4701

but reallly, when it comes to bikes ... light things no cheap, cheap things no light laaa..

trinx i think not bad lo...

for tht price i will buy it instead of dahon with no QR hubs n less speed.

but of cos dahon material like handle post is thicker etc...

60-70kg rider ok..

100kg rider mebe... can feel not solid.... biggrin.gif

folds better n looks nicer than ugo n speedgear...

the Disc version use 406 wheels, good for those wana use bigger tyre,
cos 451 don have big tyre, oni racing tyre...

kaler oso nicer than dahon... doh.gif

Yeah the KA2016D seems like quite a good value for money, but it's very very difficult to find the specs for the bike other than the components.

Most disc brake foldies will have 100mm front fork opening which is good since hubs are abundant, but it's a good 30cm extra bulk compared to foldies using V brakes and their 74mm front opening.

Expensive means anything above RM 500 ..lar.., anything below still can pay cash to upgrade ....

lesser spoke means i have to get another hubset to match it right?
