QUOTE(H2D @ Aug 5 2014, 01:52 PM) light or not dono... but got alexrim and weiman rim..... this waimun rim... 20 -32 lobang, how many lobang u wan.... Either rim would be fine. I'm more interested in the quality of the hubs. Slightly higher weight you would hardly notice if the hubs were real smooth.....Did you buy these locally or Taobao? I've just picked up another foldie. A very unhappy looking Dahon Speed D7. It is now in pieces ready to be cleaned and re-assembled. It actually looks quite good with no real flaws. I'll see how it rides and may end up buying some new wheels. I wonder how much a better set of wheels cost, with say Novatec hubs in M'sia? Need new tyres too...

Izzit make a very big different? i think most ppl regard freewheel as old tech... mebe hard to find freewheel cogs here, but many available in taobao. the trinx lowest gear is not 32T it is 12-25T i think... some might think it is not low enuf... so they wan 11-32T, this type of freewheel u can get in taobao...

I'm in oz but sometimes in msia. You are probably right in regards to the variety available in msia. I'm amazed little wheels cost nearly the same as 700c wheels after including postage.

QUOTE(applecyclist @ Aug 6 2014, 09:51 AM) where is the cheapest to get tern bicycles? Tern bicycle's price is quite fixed~~and there is only a handful of distributor here based on my research~~ depending what model you wanna buy~~sometimes that model falls into promotion then u get a better deal... or else anywhere is about the same....just depends on the service and your convenience~~

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Jul 23 2014, 07:29 AM) Got myself and wife XDS AFB 270 yesterday, with a nice front-load baby seat on my one. Easy to remove the seat for folding. Tried riding a bit, handlebar really quite twitchy compared to old bike. Can get used to though, I think. In any case, first foldie! Can share the details where you get the baby seat ? TQ

QUOTE(GonnersKL @ Aug 6 2014, 05:33 PM) Can share the details where you get the baby seat ? TQ SS14 in Subang Jaya. There's at least 2 bike shops on the same row, one nice Lerun one and one chinese uncle one (much cheaper). The chinese uncle one is near to the Caltex petrol station, facing towards the houses (behind the row which faces SS15).
