V brake or disc brake better...my uncle said he bought a TRS folding bike with disc brake for rm500 whereas mine is dahon visc with v brake. Why I'm paying premium price get lower quality brakes. Got such saying one?

1- bcos it is dahon/dr hon. So price sure $$$ more than trs no matter what.. biggrin.gif
2- disc brake r dirt cheap now, those made in china for low cost bike..
3- which more effective.. have to test like in pouring rain n mud etc... kekeke..

No, no foldies within that price range in the roadshow. I think you should refer to bicyclebuysell.com to get a folding bike at that price. There are quite a number of options for that budget.

Mcm buying car. Proton with 4 disc brakes all around or Toyota vios E but with rear drum brakes? Both also perform the same basic function.down to individual preference and budget.

to all the pros here. I do some research on foldable bike and planning to get one. However most of the foldable bike comes with 20inch instead of slightly bigger one.
I myself is a fairly big size guy. A 20 inch bike seems too small for me.
Planning to get the China Hummer bike.
What do you guys think? Any other recommendation??

i'm looking for another bicycle for my mum. budget around RM1k. Any recommended. I'm thinking should i get a 16 inches rims or stick to 20 rims inches. My car boot not sure can fit another 20 inches rims as i can't put the bicycle vertically.

If you remove the seat posts out from the bike and place it in car front seat, then may just be possible to have two bikes 20 inch rims. Just experiment if with your 20 inch...

but best to have 16 inch rims, so small and compact.
