Ah I see.. It's the exact same deal my friend got when he bought his D8. They will probably give you some INFINI lights, silverline helmet and some saddle bag. Bear in mind it's kinda cheap stuff actually. If you're not particular about accessories then just go for it.
If you rather hand pick your own accessories then try to ask for a discount and tell him you don't want any of the freebies (you will end up spending more though lol!)

The helmet is ok for normal use. A helmet is still a helmet so it doesn't really matter as long as the clips are good and it feels comfortable.
Ya I think everyone wears helmets every time they cycle. I know I do!
When I bought the bike last year they gave a nutcase helmet which i really like cause of the comfortable straps and the magnetic buckle. It's a bit hot though due to lack of air holes (sounded wrong lol)

Can you recommend me where I can get those? and how much would it cost?

and do i need to clean the chain with degreaser first before applying the lube again? or I can just simply clean it with soap smile.gif

I guess i really need to apply the lube again considering i've wash out my bike several time before  sweat.gif

EDIT:
Tho i found one called Zefal brand, comes in wet, dry, and pro. RM45 for pro (120ml). Is this one good?

You can try at hardware shop. Google which dealer carry it.

Cleaning your chain basically is to remove the dirt stuck in your chain. Degreaser is used to ease the cleaning process. Cheaper way is to use diesel. Don't use soap if possible and the black stuff can't dissolve in soap water too.

For me, I would do hardcore chain cleaning once a month, and lube after cleaning or when there is a sound.

Not sure about the zefal lube.

If you think you will feel safe when you wear it, then wear it

If you don't feel like wearing it, yes you can.

No rule say you must wear it when cycling.

I don't wear unless I go for a ride along some really busy roads. Other than that, if mostly quiet or residential roads, I won't wear it and just hang the helmet on the bars, so that can enjoy the cooling wind more.

Just got back a ride. The drivetrain seems a lot smoother and there isn't much clicking anymore. I think the drivetrain has sort of 'broken in' wit the new chain!

Just came back after my first ride with my new bike. Was at Titiwangsa and saw a whole lot of cyclists. Wanted to say hi but was a little shy. They were all with their Tern / Dahon bikes and I was just with my China Hummer. sweat.gif

Riding outdoor was a lot fun and challenging, except for the little fear of cars and other motorists.

How long you want to cycle at the same place? You will get bored soon and then will go for other area or event.

How much is Rodalink promo? Recently, Lerun Warehouse was selling it for just RM950 or RM1K.

I don't think it is suitable for long distance ride. It will be a struggle for a single speed bike.
