Lets say I provide very good cooling for the system with an airconditioned room and a fan blowing at it , will you say that this will help the console last longer ?

This 3ROD problem is caused by heat right ?

So if the heat issue is resolved then it should be no problem ?

If only got rental for Xbox games like how there used to be for laser disc .

ermm.. when downloading demo, just leave the console like that? what if i turned it off? does it still continue download when i switched it on again? or it will restart the download.

no u cant...it wont work. however some AP with client mode might work.

there is option to continue downloading when u turn off ur machine
means ur machine running on standby mode (of course at lower power consumption)
after finish download..it will switch off automatically

Need advice here. Should I get the Elite now or wait for the new model with price cut & HDMI output? Did Elite solve the 3ROD problem? If not, I will wait for the new model.

ermm.. how to share music with xbox.. i did all the tutorial.. but somehow my songs didnt show up in xbox.huhu..

using media connect or wmp11? you can configure which folders to share to xbox... i remember not moving my music collection when sharing it last time.

Can I transfer avi or mkv video from my PC to Xbox 360 harddisk & play it on the Xbox 360. 120GB of space just to store save data & trailer is kind of waste.

cant... you only can stream your avi/mkv from your pc using 360

Im still new in this xbox scene. They give me a component cable with a monitor port connection and the sound wires (red and white) is connected by an adapter.

Question is why I can't play that on my laptop?
If I use my desktop computer how am I going to listen to the sound if I hook the red and white cable at headpphone jack. Where do I hook the speaker?

you need a rca converter to the headphone jack (green jack you see for speaker connection). Can buy those converter easily at electrical shops.

in WMP11, select Tools > Options... > go to Library tab > 'Monitor Folders...'
then add your folders with music in it.

i guess that should do the trick, coz i nvr actually use wmp11 for sharing. i prefered using Windows Media Connect, at least i can control when to share or not to share just by launching or closing the application. WMP11 runs media sharing in the background, waste of resources if u ask me. now im not even using sharing anymore, just plugin a thumb drv or my ipod.

I have saved JUST ABOUT the money to get an.... (drum rolls) Xbox 360 Elite ! I wanted to get the Core but decided not to.

But now... a new problem surfaces...

Where do I get it ? GamersHideout.com.my said they have NO STOCK, wait for 2 long weeks

What about anywhere else? Is there another place where I can get it ? Please help me. I am new here.
