maybe i suggest a little correction?

The power supply voltage, its V (volts) not W (watts) and our country is 240V... and the stepdown is recommended to at least 300W.

is the D-terminal is as same as DVI-D?
*
also known as D4 connector, its a Japanese standard available mostly only to Japanese TVs. Actually it carries the same YCbCr signal as Component video, only different connector. Wikipedia

Ok i just want to know .. at my place the xbox 360 is selling at RM 1988 and DOA 4 for RM 250 ..

is this price reasonable or rip off ? ..

and also how about playing online for DOA 4 ? Free or else ? .. any free online gaming for XBox 360 ?
*
wah, definately a rip off! xbox360 premium only cost around RM1400~ now... DOA4 NTSC/J (Japan) is going for us$29.90 now at play-asia. supports english language.

*edit: checkout the first post of this thread for console/game street price and available SKUs

I"m sure will said is cheaper then local import from SG.

hopefully this is true. thumbup.gif
*
most important thing is it brings tech support here, so new owners dont have to swim back to SG/HK/JP for warranty. as for me, i still need to swim back to japan with my JP unit, LoL biggrin.gif

and with mass distribution, the retail price is well known. recently, i met a fren who i didn't see for many years, he was shocked that i could get 360 games ~rm150, he's been buying >rm200 all this while doh.gif shakehead.gif

if they sell whatever game sg/hk is selling then that'll be fine... still a long way for malaysian localised content.

See those white & red cable? Plug it those cable from Xbox 360's VGA-HD cable into your speaker and you'll have sound.  smile.gif
*
no dont do that! the red and white goes to front L/R satelites, they're output ports, not input.... use the included RCA to Stereo jack and plug it into the green hole, then set the switch to 2 channel.

1)can the MS vga cable with audio adapter connect to a pc 2.1 speakers or headphone?
2)MS vga cable and 3rd party vga cable+audio adapter, which is cheaper, better?
3)are those cables available in sg wang/imbi?
*
1) the original MS cable has the necessary adapters to support pc speaker/headphone connectors. for 3rd party, need to buy urself. most altec lansing speakers come with the adapter too.

2) 3rd party cheaper, and performs the same to me. some complaint about loose connectors for the 3rd party, i havent encountered such problems yet. im using dragon brand from playasia btw.

3) cant answer this, not from KL. mzaidi went around to look for it recently, he couldnt find any.

jus wan to ask is it save to buy games at play-asia using free shipping?thx....
*
u mean "safe"? my experience: i've bought a few games and some other stuff from play-asia before using free shipping, all arrived safely. roughly take around 7days. free shipping doesn't require signature, so i usually order 1 game at a time using the bubble envelope packaging, small enough to fit thru my mailbox. if big item then no choice la, just hope no punk jump over the gate and take my parcel tongue.gif

thanks for that little trivia.

and i always thought its cheaper to print dvds and distribute them in the major markets themselves rather than outsourcing and risk early leaks of hot games.
*
here's more trivia: my NTSC/J Japan Chromehounds is "Made in Japan" and the disc is black and white. So was my RR6, but that was made in SG.

Hmm, then its kinda like cheat us since the we must buy it, if not we cant recharge the wireless controller.

Thx for answering my question, I read the FAQ so this question pop up in my mind. You are very helpful.
*
not really, the kit comes with a charging cable (usb) and a battery. the cable can only charge that type of battery (won't charge if u put AAs) and that battery can only be charged by that cable (or a desktop charger which u would hv to buy). the battery doesn't last as long compared to say a pair of 2300mAh Ni-MH batteries...

the kit is great when u don't already hv rechargeable AAs and charger... but if u already hv those, might as well buy somemore rechargeable AA, then use the charger u already hv, cheaper smile.gif . one added advantage is that the kit allows u to play while u charge, but for me it beats the purpose of being wireless and my console is quite far away from the couch, id hv to go sit on the carpet. i prefer turning it off and pop in spare rechargeable AAs. the low-batt warning (when used with Ni-MH AAs in this case) gives ample warning, i can go on playing for 30 minutes with the warning light on, enough time to finish whatever Live session smile.gif

IMHO, cheating would be: the controller doesn't support AA batteries and u are forced to use their proprietary battery! even if they are given free with initial purchase, sooner ud realise 1 battery is not enough and when u hv an extra battery u would want that desktop charger... after a few hundred charge cycles, your battery wears off and guess what? u hv to buy their batteries again... now that's what i call cheating wink.gif

u hv ur choices.... thumbup.gif

plug the 360 sound to ur soundcard line in, can hear both at once, no need to plug nothing. but downside is pc needs to be turned on, but some ppl's pc is always on smile.gif
