my answers,

1. bad thing about using the stepdown is it's too huge and need space and if you travels a lot then sure sakit kepala lah.

2. i am using the 500w stepdown and just a little heat only. you wont feel it at all smile.gif

I know it's old news, that's how most of the shops in SW doing business, so newbie just beware.

if need stepdown definately a japanese set. 500w stepdown only rm110-130 and consider very2 good and stable already. these days not advisable to buy in sg wang shops because they will SLASH you big time. maybe ask your friend walk over to imbi plaza since many of use bought our 360 in imbi plaza.

1. both japanese and asian 360 are same region so can play both games. the only difference is japanese set you need to buy additinal stepdown transformer.

2. as long as you buy asian version games, both japanese and asian 360 can play it.

3. when you purchase new 360 you'll get 1 month free xbox live trial. after that you need to renew it... monthly, quarterly, halfly or 1 year. if you renew longer then you pay less the fee. streamyx sure lagging depends how bad is your area then but not that extreme bad lah. if play locally together should be a problem. nothing is FREE is this world!

4. if in LYN you just pm djinn (trusted reliable seller), if sg wang shop you just pm metalgrindsolid because he can get very nice price from his regular shop, if imbi plaza, you can buy from 2 shops there, imbi mario (no pretty gals here) or TNL (also no pretty gals here)

you'll get 1 month gold live after that 1 month period is over you account will automatically be a silver account. silver account is free but if you really wanna play online no point lah having a silver account... hehehe just my 2cents opinion.

yup another good option is just buy it from playasia.com. just use free shipping and wait a week for the game arrival. if use free shipping price is cheaper compare to shops.

well if you are sharing with another person and getting 2 games then just use fedex shipping, fedex will cost you rm57 but you can use that rm20 discount coupon to deduct from the shipping. in the end fedex shipping only rm37 and split 2 person. so you paying rm147 for a game and rm18.50 for fedex. if you order today around noon then fedex will deliver tomorrow morning and the best part you dont have to drive pay petrol parking and traffic jam smile.gif

if you dont consider djinn as realible then i dont know what to say anymore. he's busy setting up his own shop at the moment. his shop will open in that new cinema building opposite ikano power centre.

another option is just go to imbi plaza, 2 reliable shops there, imbi mario and TNL. make your choice. my advise to you is never buy from sungai wang unless that shops owner is your uncle or aunty. sungai wang shops are well known for TIPU & CUT/SLASH your throat!

that power brick will cost you a bomd my friend! my advice, you just pm bro metalgrindsolid and ask his help to convert a normal PC power supply into 360 power supply. this wont cost you a huge bomb.

bro metalgrindsolid is using PC power supply for his 360. his power brick spoilt long time already and no warranty. if you purposely buy a new power brick you need around rm300 something.

another option if you are staying too far away from djinn's shop like me then just go and buy online from playasia.com. bought most of my games from that site using free shipping.

japan set needs transformer because different voltage and that transformer makan electricity kaw2... asian set direct cucuk masuk kautim!

for asian set anything happen can send back to singapore for warranty while for japan set you need to swim back to japan. but japen set cheaper a bit.

dont worry bro all asian games works on japan set because mine is a japanese set. why you want japanese title lah... you sure you can handle japanese language? japanese games also cost more smile.gif
