Happened to me too. Funny thing was when asked at maybank, The lady said she cant answer coz she doesnt know. System kata dah approve tapi takde info on where the cards are. One fine day, pos laju showed up at home as i was heading to work. Another funny thing was, I could only sign for my principal cards. My wife had to sign for her supplementary card eventhough technically its under my name. (Maybe coz the letters were somehow addressed to her).

Best part?

Both cards was supposed to be delivered to my office.

I had issues when collecting cards from the branch always also - each time they'll insist the cards haven't been received.

Only after the staff phoning their card services department they'll locate them in another drawer as the cards come with the brochure / holder etc. and don't fit in the standard lock box used for the cards supplied in a standard envelope.

On the 2 occasions , both times has taken 30+ minutes for something so simple

Next time, go to Maybankard Centre Mon-Fri before 7pm (best earlier) and get the card same day.

they still asked me to wait 2-3 days even documents are ready.

okay, 3 days better than 1.5 weeks right.

should not be, even the CS in Card center say it is unusual to take so long to approve.

i submit my application after 7pm, go collect 7pm next day.

Bro, Maybankard 2 Cards 1 day also can but for other cards maybe need more time.

For supp Maybank 2 Cards Premier, they can do it same day if you go early.

Is it, why they ask me to wait 2-3 days, really strange. Some more I am a frequent MBB user too.

just called premier CS last Friday, wanna redeem TP to enrich, this round they said normal TP not allowed to use 4.5TP:1EM

So previously were mistake?

Anyway, redemption via CS is faster than online, TP deduct immediately and take less than 24hrs to be credited into EM site.

...... my Maybank experience is just fantastic ! Step in Maybank first time in my life. Opened a savings account. Pledged 30K FD. Applied for Maybank 2 Cards Premier through Senior RM [ just signed the application ]. She called after 3 working days. Received Both cards. Activated within 3 minutes......... started using my 1st Credit Cards @ Malaysia ......

But if you cancel your other Maybank cards and only Premier remains - the TPs would move there and then you can use them to redeem at 1K:7K? Thought I read some had success doing this. Bit of a hassle though unless you really want to cancel those other cards anyway.

I'm not sure what to do with all my TPs yet, no upcoming trips so far, collect more for now

My other cards stay, wanna save up the hassle.
