1) yeah i rather change new phone because the camera start to lag when facing low light after few software updates.
2) i lazy replace battery and give to my dad, i bought another G4 for him instead, big screen like Note 1 so he can read better. (and camera too)
3) camera tint issue... duhhh... one of the pain in the arse to wait for changing module.

1. price? HTC will replace my camera for free. my M7 is already close to 2.5 years. very kind of HTC.
2. i was promised a week top of repair time. i am keeping my finger cross. so far 1 working day gone.

i pay abt RM85 for the repair service. the spare part is free. if under warranty, everything is free. anyway, i aint complaining since its no longer under warranty.

send my phone for the camera repair on Saturday. Monday i got sms its ready. yesterday (Tuesday) picked up. Cost me RM84.80 for camera repair service charge (spare part is free) and RM52 to replace battery.

this is at 4th floor low yat plaza service center. pretty good service.

Anyone can recommend a reliable shop to replace my M7 cracked screen. Didnt want to bring to HTC official retailer since it's too expensive and this phone is quite old.

I have problems with my 2-year old HTC One M7.

When connected to a wifi, everything is okay. I can refresh my insta feed, googling on Chrome and check my email.

But when I'm using data, these three apps is not working. Insta feed cannot be refreshed, I cannot even go to google page, and my email wont be sync.

BUT, i'm still able to refresh my twitter feed, receive chats in wechat and etc. I'm baffle since I believe this is not a problem related to my signals. I have factory reset my phone, but the problem still persists.

Anyone here experienced same symptoms???

Which network are you on? I was on Maxis and my twitter feed never loaded. My data always on but twitter will never load but I receive notifications fine and then when I go into the app, the app just doesn't load. I called maxis about this and they gave me a new sim card for free. The problem went away for a while and came back a few months later and I complain again. Then they did something to fix it.

I see. I'm on celcom by the way. Funny thing is the problem is there eventhough the signal showing 4G. so is it probably because of the sim card thingy?

Insert the same sim card and put it into another phone and try the things that doesn't work. If it works then I don't know what's wrong with your phone. If it doesn't, change the sim card.

Are you saying that the screen sometimes register a press on its own? If that's the case then yes. My phone sometimes auto pauses YouTube videos or press & hold some keyboard button randomly lol.

Probably they also want to clear their old parts... hence its cheaper.

Just today I tried to update my One m7 through OTA. All stocks. But the update render my phone into bootloop. I manage to get into recover where it shows error

Device_CW_Install : Can't mount /cwprop
Mount SDCARD failed 1 times, 2 times etc
Can not mount to SD CARD. No such device
Write Host_mode : 0 done

After a bit of googling, I decide to just unlock the bootloader and flash custom recovery with custom rom. The question is, my current hboot 1.57 do I need to look out for which rom I go for? Haven't been into rom flashing for quite sometime, I scared I will brick my phone if flash the wrong rom.

Hello! Anyone have this issue where your phone keep on restarting? it just show the htc logo, then the screen went of and then a buzz, and htc logo again? keep on repeating itself. what is probably wrong with my phone?

I recently reset my phone. My M7 is still stock. After reset i notice HTC Sense Home wont install. Somehow play store says not compatible with my phone. Before reset i was changing theme.

Anyone has same issue?
