anyone manage to change camera n battery within a few hours/a day in lowyat service center? Planning to go there.

Note5 if Note7 is out of reach, price wise. If you can live with built in 32GB on HTC One, you'll manage with this. Otherwise you can opt for the S7 series.

Personally I went with Note5. Sure Sense has it's strengths, but I am happily living with TouchWiz now. TouchWiz is certainly not like what it used to be back with S4. That was primarily the reason why we went with HTC One right? Much sleeker, a lot less bloatware. Meaningful additions to Android like a near flawless split screen multitasking.

All in all, used to be a huge Samsung hater, now I love it tons.

Anyone knows how to root HTC One M7?

I just moved on from HTC to the OnePlus 3. Glad to say that I'm happy with the new phone. Nonetheless. The headphone jack audio quality in the HTC M7 is still marginally better than the One Plus 3. Same goes for the audio quality for the stereo speakers, although the OnePlus 3 is louder. I wanted to get HTC 10, but the price kills me off. I got my OnePlus3 for 1688 @ lazada while HTC 10 sells at around 2.7k. Hopefully I can own another HTC next time However I'm gonna replace my camera module and battery for my M7. Will be great to have it as a second device New life to the M7

I just check with 2 different HTC official service center. Both center reply similar

Unlike 3rd parties service that ply off the phone with risk of dented the metal casing

HTC Official service center need 3 hrs to open the phone and 4 hours to glue back.
This will ensure no scar on your phone.. I did replace my camera during the recall period. Perfectly done.
I can't seen any extra dent.

Battery replacement need ~ 3 days (including part order)

TOM (lowyat plaza) is cheaper @ RM 135 (part & labour)
Hello station charge more that RM 150

Finally i own a redmi note 3 to replace my htc one m7. So far so good tally with its price.

I'm in TOM service centre at lowyat. Not a very friendly front-counter (indian girl).

Msia market is mostly 32gb, normal. Yet she still ask 16 or 64 repeatedly. She keep showing sour face

Eh... the one serve me is Chinese woh. She is using HTC phone also and before I said anything already knew I am using M7

Hello station are Indian lady and less knowledgeable. One when in ask technician then comes out tell me the price and immediately want register... I stop her to ask the repair duration.
