"Sack DM now/end of season, who can replace him for long term?"

It's up to the management to answer. Think of it logically, if a company starts losing money, how much would they allow the CEO to lose before appointing a new manager. He will definitely be there for 2 seasons, unless of course he screws up worse or not in the top 4 next season.

There are alot of technically gifted managers around, motivators, not so much and for united, tradition is that he must be english.

and it's also upto the management to decide to sack or not to sack. so why are we all screaming for his head now? if DM stays, i'm fine with it, i'll deal with it. if DM sacked, fair enuf. move on. as for the ingulish part, i rest my case. ingulis manager? pfftt..

Everyone is unhappy, and a lot of people are screaming for his head, but a realistic and workable answer to this question remains missing.

Feel the same way. Very unhappy with the performances, but ultimately the owners and board are the ones who have the axe in a closet. All we can do is hope things improve.

moyes is not up to the mark..giving time, supporting him are just bullshit..he is scot and SAF good fren, sure he will get support from SAF.

look at Bayern and mac city, the coaches are new and they manage to win a silverware this season..

that is call quality coaches, not mid table quality coach..u don't expect a pig to fly or climb a tree knowing that its impossible for the pig to climb or fly

Many managers will be available after WC2014 ended. We have to ditch the idea of sticking to tradition which is hiring manager based on nationality and long term success thingy.

SAF is great because he evolve, change, and adapt over time. Why can't the club learn to do it as well?

I will update the thread whenever I am at my PC. This match ended 5.45 MORNING which I still need to go to work after that. FYI, my internet is restricted at the office means I can only do so when I am back home which is NOW.

Any problem with that? if yes, you can PM me instead.

I straight tell you now itself that the thread description will NOT be updated right after our early kickoff against Villa this Saturday as its likely I won't be at home during and after the game until probably 1am.

People are expecting mods/staffs to be robots, always online to update this and that. Have some respect for them, especially bro alien who made alot of effort to keep the thread clean and make sure that the first page is in an orderly manner. notworthy.gif

You are warned. #DareToSino

Moyes: City at the level we aspire to

Manchester United manager David Moyes said rivals City are "at the sort of level we are aspiring to" after Manuel Pellegrini's men ran out 3-0 winners at Old Trafford.

• Brewin: Blue day at Old Trafford

• Okwonga: Derby disappointment

• Palmer: Three Things

City head back across Manchester with all three points after seeing off their fiercest foes with remarkable ease -- United's second successive 3-0 home defeat in the Premier League after their loss to Liverpool.

And the performance left Moyes struggling to contain his admiration.

He is quoted by the Mirror as saying: "We have played a very good side, playing at the sort of level we are aspiring to. We need to come up a couple of levels ourselves because at the moment we are not there."

He added: "We didn't start the game well. They were very good but we grew into the game and up into the second goal we had a fighting chance. But we weren't good enough in the end."

The night could have been even worse after Marouane Fellaini was perhaps fortunate not to see red after appearing to throw an elbow at Pablo Zabaleta.

Moyes said: "My first feeling was that Fellaini's yellow card of a foul on Pablo Zabaleta wasn't even a free-kick, but I genuinely haven't seen it again and people have said to me that it was worse than that."

Manchester United's senior hierarchy is “evaluating all possibilities” as it attempts to arrest the club's steep descent under David Moyes. Contrary to public statements that Sir Alex Ferguson's successor will definitely be granted at least a second season as manager, Moyes' dismissal is prominent among those possibilities.

Key decision-makers within the Old Trafford board have been assessing potential replacements as manager for several weeks and further talks are planned.

Recruited on the recommendation of Ferguson, Moyes was not the majority shareholders' preferred choice for their first managerial appointment as owners of the club.

Key players are said to "have had enough of the way Moyes is destroying their reputation" with his repeated assertions that a squad that won the Premier League by 11 points last season required a radical rebuild to have any chance of retaining the title. On the contrary, they believe the Scot's errant tactics and man management have caused the team's decline.

The level of discontent with Moyes among United's squad is such that there is now discussion about making a direct request to the board that he be replaced. [Source: @DuncanCastles, goal.com http://goo.gl/LuCDMS, Telegraph http://fw.to/sSWYj8B ] #mufc #manutd #moyes

Gloat all they want but if next season we are leading the table I will not have any problem by not being in UCL. Looking at things now, we could also be joined by Arsenal.

i don't mind he get sacked smile.gif it's quite a risk to start 2nd season, losing 30% of the first 10 match before he got sacked. by then 2nd season is already quite over

unfortunately, there's not a single match whole season that show his potential. maybe 1-0 win against arsenal, that's it.
