Just sack DM, have Giggs as caretaker. Then hire Carlos Queiroz.

Every morning I wakeup and hope to see this headline.

I don't believe in sacking DM, and then giving the big seat to one of the legends. Are they qualified or experienced enough? Isn't ironic to say sack DM because

he lacks experience/didn't win anything at Everton? Plus, you can only look the nearest neighbour when they hired one of their legends for the position. Look how

well that turned out, eh? I am not saying it would turn out the same, but isn't better to give the seat to one of the "bigger" names whom are more experienced

in handling big egos/names in the dressing room? At least, with that, then can hire the legends to be the assistant manager at most to give them the experience

needed. Coaching positions would be more appropriate.

DM might "learn" on how to cope with these kind of pressures, maybe he won't. Looking at present, he is looking more and more out of his depth. Even his

press conferences recently were terrible. sweat.gif I believe in years to come, one of the 92 legends would become a key figure in the United first team but not

now/too soon.

i think the best course is, sacking Moyes after we bow out from CL. we need to give out best shot in CL, whether its impossible or not. manager-less /caretaker will not make us better. the possible caretaker (after get beat in QF) only in charge of 5/6 games, appoint anyone capable within current setup.

old head manager (eg van Gaal /Hiddink) will be my 1st choice. though they are unlikely to stay for a long spell.

if we want to go through 'adventurous' route, hire somebody like Pochettino. high risk though.

if money are not object, tempt Klopp with millions and bring his key players from Dortmund.

QUOTE
On 4 June 2013, Heynckes announced he would not coach a team during the 2013–14 season.[98] On 21 June, in an interview with Der Spiegel, Heynckes said: "After everything that's happened over the past two years, I'm ready for some peace and quiet. After this string of successes, I could transfer to just about any club in Europe. I have a problem with the finality of saying 'never'. But I can assure you that I have no intention of coaching again. I had a worthy ending."[19]

Of coz Giggs is not the long term manager. He still need more working experience. After sacking DM, he is the right person to temp work as caretaker.

I prefer Carlos Queiroz over Klopp is because Carlos knows the club inside out. He is the one handling all the training, tactics even when SAF in charge. He is especially superb in scouting unknown gem. My worry on Klopp is he is untested in EPL or any club outside Germany. He may have bring the best Germany young players up and that is likely due to his native country, but this is EPL we are talking abt.

Because DM has proved that poor manager + world class player = weak club. So no point talking abt buying great player.

And I like this letter.

A fantastic article, or letter if it was really delivered to Mr Clueless. I really hope he reads it. Everything described was spot on, especially "This implies you were looking to make changes from day one. Whilst this seems to be a stock phrase for new managers coming in, we must remember that they do so usually when a club is in turmoil. However, in your case the complete opposite was true, and in fact you should have tried to seamlessly fit in with a club that has had unprecedented success over the last 25 years. Nothing needed to change… continuity was the key. You needed to fit into the club, not the other way around!"

i think the board playing the 'wait and see' game. see how we do in the CL, see how we do in the final league standings. If we get into europe, probably they give him 1 more chance.

Even if you give him 300mil to spend, he continues to deploy those awful tactics, we won't get anywhere.
