I've been thinking lately..

If Roo leaves , that leaves Mata @ NO10 ( a role he excels in ) , and also 20M-40M for us.

Kagawa might leave too , the signing of mata probably means that he won't get any playtime , he would probably go .

Clev . Just let him go. He hasn't been playing well , yet he whines in the middle of the season while the team needs as much morale boost as possible. Selfish.

3 of them should give around 50m , which is good enough to sign a good LB and CM . Fork out some money for a CB and possibly LM/RM , we're good to go .

With RvP or Chica in front , Mata behind , Zaha/Adnan/AV/Another winger brows.gif , Afro( if he return fully fit and with decent form ) + Carrick / Another new CM .

Of course , this is what I hope for , who knows others might leave , and we might not always get what we want .

BTW - Rio Vidic impressed me yesterday , so did Smalling ( Defensively not offensively )

He'll probably sign a new contract IF money is the issue. No way bayern will let him go , even if he wants to leave , he'll be looking for a club with CL , good pay and 1st team football.

I have to agree that bringing Giggs on isn't the best option , heck Moyes biggest mistake so far is his subs. Other than that , I would say everything is still alright ( EXCEPT for certain playstyle , but one could argue that it's the player's choice , we wouldnt know what's going on there ) , especially considering how well Rooney's situation was handled .

If #31 keeps on playing well and provide stability in midfield , he'll be a good Fletcher+Carrick combined together . What I worry is our CB and LB at the moment . With Vida Evra leaving , who do we have ? Buttner at LB - Left side of defence exposed all the time . Evans is alright , but Jones and Smalling dont look like the most stable of players , and both are injury prone , especially jones. This summer will be one of the biggest for the past few years , many will leave many will join I suppose .

The 3rd goal was good , one of the better ones this season . Overall good match , now we just need consistency .

Honestly , without the first Penelty , I still think its going to be a hard game for Liverpool . Even though we did not play the best football , Liverpool did not either . First half was probably 40-60 ( not possession ) which still isn't that bad .

That being said , 2-0 down , hoping to see at least some shots or chance , nothing big came.

Back to half time . I feel that januzaj should be subbed out right after the 1st half . In situation like this , I would rather see young at the wings to be honest . RvP had a horrible night , he look like he lost his heart to play after going 2-0 down .

I feel like we need players with pace in this game especially at the wings , someone like Nani ? If you look at our midfield and attack , nobody has good pace .

This game has past , hopefully there will be a better performance next game , a desperately needed big win .

well, if u watch the same match that i did just now, liverpool completely controlled the opening of the match. only in the middle did fellaini made some exceptional tackles to help us get a lil bit control of the ball. tongue.gif

apart from that rooney shot at the end of the first half, i thought there was nothing else to shout about.

the problem here is not about pace, but tactics. we ditched fast runners like young and valencia for januzaj and mata and yet we still wanna play the same traditional winger tactic, and hoping to cross the balls. mata had to stray from his position only then we had several possessions in the middle

Liverpool did control the game , but it was all in the middle of the park aside from a few chances not taken . Otherwise , eventhough if we played badly , we're probably going into half time 0-0 .

I too sometimes wonder if we can play something like 4-3-3 false 9 with the players we got , or 4-2-1-3 , or even 4-1-2-1-2 , ditch 4-2-2 , it's not working for us this season , with our wingers ( Valencia , young , nani ) not on form

I realised that there are less ABUs posting here already , they're probably watching us crippling and crumbling ( this thread ) . Good for them , they don't even need to argue with us anymore , cause we're making a joke out of ourselves . Why not both sides just stick together and tolerate a little .

I agree with Evans as captain , in the current squad ( excluding Vidic Giggs Ferdinand Evra) i think that Evans and Fletcher are the most suitable players to become team captain .

And to be honest , the only player that can justify a 300K salary (if they're in ManUtd ) is CR7 , and maybe messi but he did not play in EPL so it's still hard to say .
