I tried but it can't detect my PC to transfer files to my box. Maybe I will try again.
*
Both devices MUST be on the same network... Also, try registering for an Airdroid account, then add your device into it.. Should work then.

QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Jan 16 2017, 01:04 PM)
how do i link android box to sound system?
Want to use for karaoke purpose only, watch tv normal just use tv speaker can d.
Currently using Youtube (from smart tv or android box) app because canot find any good karaoke app like in real karaoke centres.

android box connected directly to TV via HDMI
amplifier to speaker via speaker cable

amplifier does not have HDMI
*
Preferably, connect from your box directly to the amplifier, then HDMI out to TV.. Check the box's audio connections.. Many boxes ship with an optical out as standard. Else, get a converter and or connect box to TV and TV to amplifier..

Look behind your amplifier.. Toslink support? use.. Else RCA as suggested.. Do not expect HD sound support if using the latter.

Karaoke? Ain't nobody got time for karaoke on android... There are dedicated karaoke devices..

Yeah. Connected to the same router.

By device, I meant your android box.

Yes from my mobile ES Explorer transfer to box's ES File Explorer. I can't seem to transfer using PC...
*
Simplest way is to use samba.

Just need do the right settings at pc windows, put files in right folder, grant access for box.

Then, at box es file explorer, u can access it.

Google, windows instructions, steps quite clear.

If your box has native or installed media networking app, can do same.

the common name is samba.

windows call it network sharing.

nvidia shield.. good observation!

due to the cost, i count only 1 (ONE) user here.

it is a top of the range box for serious users incl gaming and hd audio.

and for those willing to pay for paid services like netflix and the like.

those lookinhg for free ahem axtroo will not buy it. laugh.gif

Got this working! Thanks. biggrin.gif

I just noticed one more issue, I'm using PC speaker and my left side of my speaker is not working... Tried with PC, it is working well. Just on this box. hmm.gif It seems only happening today. Anything I can do? hmm.gif
Tried on few apps and Kodi, the same. hmm.gif Anyone can advise me?

I'm guessing the PC speakers are connected to the box through the headset port? Try connecting the speakers to the TV's headset port instead (if it has one).. Then box via HDMI to the TV.

most probably 3.5mm pin problem.

tv box 3.5mm output is left right audio plus video.

pc speaker 3.5mm connector is only left right audio.

so, it depends on the connector design. some works some not.

Amp does not have hdmi sweat.gif
If direct from box optical out convert to RCA into amplifier, the HDMI still able to output sound to TV? Becoz only going to use Amp/speaker when karaoke only.

yes.

box "digitial" audio output - usually 2 of them - coaxial (single RCA) and toslink (optical).

old AVR's w/o hdmi should have both of them; both can do dts/dd.

either will work.

Yes, through headset AV port.
I don't think it has. hmm.gif
I'm using HDMI to my LED PC monitor with no speaker output. If TV, then no issue with audio output.
