So you are one of the very last batch of lucky NJOI viewers that can still enjoy NJOI free SD channels

Anyway, sooner or later, Astro's telemarketing team would contact you to upsell their Astro packages, or even Astro & Broadband offerings, with some rebates here and there.
It's a matter of when will it happen only.

Not going to sign Astro packages. To me it is a waste of money. Haha.

As most of you already aware about the Measat 3 satellite outage since yesterday:
My friend that uses Njoi, just confirms that all Njoi SD channels have been recovered. If you see the SCNA message on certain channels, reboot your Astro/Njoi set-top-box.
101, 102, 122, 126, 531, 831, now can watch already.

Also good news to NJOI viewers:
TV1, TV2 and TVS is now in HD on NJOI, on the same channel number, 101, 102 and 122 respectively.

Probably because they realise that they don't want to waste that kind of satellite bandwidth anymore lol

I have some questions:

1. Do the TV1,2,TVS SD programs stopped broadcasting on astro's transponders? If so, could we see more channels being converted?

2. Does the new channels need subscribe to HD njoi pack? If so (+conversion of SD channels), could we see the old plans being sunsetted?

1. SD versions of TV1, TV2 and TVS does not exist anymore, ever since Measat 3 satellite went out of service on 21 June 2021.

2. 101, 102 and 122 is available only in HD to all Astro & NJOI viewers (it appears to me la), even if you don't subscribe to NJOI HD pack.

That one you got to ask the person in charge for NJOI already...

But if I would to guess, I would say, yes they can.
It's just a matter of when and how.

Anyone here using NJOI, and still experiences SCNA in some of the channels, right now?

no issue so far for the free channel, except the subtitles function is disabled for ch 321 CCM & ch 346 AEC

Question, I had Astro and then migrated to Njoi using the same Astro box (with smart card, not the Byond UI, the old blue UI). Currently the box has some audio issue and I want to get a new box. Would it work if I am able to find the same old UI astro box and cucuk my smart card in or it's the end of the road for me of the 30 free channels?

What audio issue is it? Describe how does it sound like.

Legacy box have been discontinued since ages ago. If the box spoils, then that's the end for you.
