My friend that uses Njoi, just confirms that all Njoi SD channels have been recovered. If you see the SCNA message on certain channels, reboot your Astro/Njoi set-top-box.
101, 102, 122, 126, 531, 831, now can watch already.

Also good news to NJOI viewers:
TV1, TV2 and TVS is now in HD on NJOI, on the same channel number, 101, 102 and 122 respectively.

Probably because they realise that they don't want to waste that kind of satellite bandwidth anymore lol

Guys, if i get njoi without paying for hd package, then i get the sports pack addon, would i get all the sports package but in SD?  Or will I get only certain sports channel?

NJOI TV Ch 140 to cease transmission on June 13, 2023, to all NJOI users. The channel has been telecasted old shows from Astro Ceria and also GO Shop programming for the last few years.

can get it on Shopee official store here. bear in mind new box have lesser channels than old box.

Can I buy a new decoder but I will still be using my old smart card ? Thus I will still be able to watch the same old channels...

In not nice words, it means FREE rojak channels that airs all the many-years-ago TV shows, and then with slot-in ads in between commercial breaks.
These rojak FAST channels (some people may call it boring or repeat-old-shows TV channels) are not made available to Astro customers, hence it's only available for free to NJOI and Sooka platforms.

For NJOI box activated before 28 April 2021, you'll still be getting 8 SD simulcast channels for free:

2. Astro Oasis (CH126)
3. Astro Vaanavil (CH261)
4. Celestial Classic Movies (CH321)
5. Astro AEC (CH346)
6. CCTV (CH375)
7. Astro Awani (CH531)

Since Astro Awani is now available in HD for free to all NJOI customers now, hence I don't see the point of them maintain the SD version of Astro Awani channel 531 anymore...
So I believe they'll cease that redundant SD version of the channel soon.
