taking any MG as first MG should be relatively easy
maybe easy for me because before I bought my first MG, I bought a Macross Frontier Messiah kit  whistling.gif

Bro, that one is higher level than MG bro. For me, Macross kits is like MG<Macross<PG. Like in the middle of between MG and PG. laugh.gif

cheap lor  whistling.gif
for me I'm UC fan + fan of bulky/large/full armor designs,
eg MG FA Unicorn, MG Ex-S, MG Sazabi, etc all these costs sub RM300  cry.gif
only cheaper by around RM10-ish
unless u mean those Jusco, Toys R Us, Metrojaya prices then those dont count, those are conjob prices  mad.gif
kinda semi build
the inner frame is assembled
the armor parts are removed from runners and painted
so u just need to put the armor on the inner frame
*
mg 00 raiser and MG SBS also near that price also

nope.

u have experience with macross b4 going into gunpla so any mg is relatively easy in comparison, but if a newbie is completely brand spanking new to the hobby in general, tey need the experience in cutting the parts out of the tree, handling nub marks, getting to know the plastic strength, familiarize with the manual layout, handling decals, etc etc.

if the said the newbie bought sazabi ver ka, when he/she inevitability break something (fin or joint or something of mechanical importance) tey just wasted 300 bucks on a kit just cuz of simple newbie mistake. If the point is to get familiarize with the hobby then going for something cheap is the preferred method, mistake will still be made regardless if the kit is expensive or not and if so isnt it better to made them on cheap kits rather then 9000yen kit? At the very least ur wallet will be in better shape.

some mg r just not meant to be build by newbie be it due to difficulties (ex-s), complexity and fragility (zeta, unicorn, and all transformable design in general), and/or price (any 7000 yen and above). Breaking such kit is more painful to bear then say breaking mk2 2.0. Going head first into any mg without consideration of the above will only cause trouble, may even pisses them off and put them off from the hobby entirely.

Zaku II might be good...but for a newbie, you know that little parts for the belt / legs...the tube like thingy. Sorry, don't know what is it called. It's damn frustrating and difficult to remove from the runners. Maybe I don't know a better technique but I found myself using my teeth to remove it..lol. I like Zaku but whenever I think about building that part...i'd end up not buying it.

power cable armor, right?
those things are redundancy, but hey, at least they could spin around when you are taking a break assembling other parts tongue.gif

Haha same for me in the case of Destiny, but also Metal Gear Rex from 3A... I so want that bad boy but 2.2k RM........ Maybe just save for next MB.

BTW guys, any recommended shops to buy Alclad II paints? I live in Kota Kinabalu and I know Cktan hobby shop, but they don't always have the paint I want. Any online sellers or shop in KL I can go to? Want mirror chrome for a gundam so bad...

MG Qan[T] is about 150.. full saber is 3rd party.. and can hurt ur wallet for about rm80++ (++ because its hard to find now and people take advantage of that)

Fortunately i got mine from one of the modellers in this thread but i still have not gotten myself a MG Qan[T].. so if u see this.. sorry tongue.gif i know i said i would get one asap

I put on the decals after assembling it. and those are not dry transfer decals; they're just normal decals.
had i found waters decals during that time, i would have prefer using water decals.

If you look closely, there's a Gundam GP02 model kit inside the picture:
