Did any1 encountered rattling at the dashboard before? Where did u guys fix it? Mine rattled for quite sometimes d. Its not serious but kinda annoying when you ride on uneven road....

yes, im pretty sure its dashboard (the sound came from the middle speaker)...at the door panel also got rattle a bit...but it doesn't annoyed me as the dashboard 1 =.=

Lolx...how hard u punch it? Might need a help from u to punch it for me if like that

Ford SDAC charged a ridiculous amount to me T_T

Persada Auto Ford service centre at Puchong Kinrara has changed to Mazda showroom. I contacted them last month for my fofo service.

Yeab... I think Ford Ranger and Fiesta are selling ok only, rest of the model are lying at dealer car yard. I hardly see any fofo facelift model on the road. Definitely sales hit hard by macho looking Civic at this segment.
My ford focus tail lamp was hit by motorist  early this year and SDAC required almost 2 and half months for stock arrival  ....so by adding to their poor after sales service, there is no surprise they going downhill, same goes to Hyundai! 

Malaysia weather not suitable for conti car like Ford? Maybe Taiwan MK3.5 tend to have more people driving due to  weather not so hot compare to Malaysia ....

Been driving my fofo for 3 years , I noticed the grinding sound and jerking become mush lesser especially at night. What do you guys think?

Quite true. Sometime last year when I was at the service centre, a guy at two counters away from me was bashing this Haslina or Haslinda, forgotten the right spelling of her name. Pity the lady. He was saying things like "I have bought your most expensive car, and you are giving me this service. It's not like I have a cheap Fiesta or Focus". I think he must have got the Mondeo or something else costing above RM200k. Apparently I was told the guy missed his first service mileage-wise, and was somewhat penalized. Not sure how did they resolve the matter though.

Oh yeah. Some people think they are the boss and attempt to bulldoze through when they themselves do not follow the rules. Trying to bend the rules by asserting a point (or bashing) is surely yucky, especially when the excuse of having the "upper hand" or privilege of having bought the most expensive car from Ford, hence he can have some special treatment? Of course, if you want to fight, fight for the right reasons. Not for some cause when you yourself are in the wrong by not following the rules, then you attempt to go against the rules.

I didn't probe any further as I'm not some busybody housewives who usually like to gossip a lot. Perhaps the guy has some of his reasons, though it's not my interest to poke my nose into that too much.

Anyone here has problem engaging the Auto Cruise or Speed Limiter function? Initially I only have problem engaging the Auto Cruise as when I press nothing happens (only 10% of the time I press it actually respond and activate the function ready) lol... but the Speed Limiter is functioning..

Few days ago, even the Speed Limiter now when I press nothing happens hahaha.. not that I using it at all but the Auto Cruise is good when I travel long distance... Now it is dead, press x-times also not responding. The last service they mentioned change the fuse and it works but then few days later same and now both not functioning at all...

Just finished my 50k service few days ago and got to schedule another one with PJ outlet for this complaint before 60k last services runs out (in another 2-3 months)...

im in the waiting list for clutch replacement. SC told me if the car is more than 3 year old, during clutch replacement, they also will change the absorber but owner will be charged 200+. any idea why absorber need to be changed oso?

Ya the warranty should be 3+2 years or 100k +100k mileage if im not mistaken. But the warranty doesnt covers wear tear items such as brake pad etc. I did the service in klang dealership service center. Will try out the pj SDAC service center next time. Btw my active city stop seems not working properly. Any owner experienced this before?

Im not sure whats the reason that my FC is so high. 6.6ltr is really low for 2.0 liter engine... I'm kinda heavy foot but during traffic jam in KL you cant even step more than half..

wanna ask if i change my mk3 clutch, will the new clutch be the same as previous? i mean the model, is there any modification made so that it will last longer n better?

As far as I know, it's the same clutch, no improvements or modifications.

As far as I know the Ford Focus uses a "special battery". Normal batteries used for other cars cannot be used on the Ford. Not sure which shop outside of Ford service centre that sells this battery. From what I gather, the Ford Focus battery costs about RM400 outside. At the service centre, it is RM800 or 900 if I am not mistaken.

If any normal battery can work on the Ford Focus, that would be good. I tried to look at the battery in the Ford Focus but the compartment is deep inside the car, and since I don't know how to dismantle the black plastic cover that is covering the battery, I cannot have a good look at the battery. I was thinking the battery in the Ford Focus is special and the shape and size of the battery are different from the normal one, hence a normal battery will not fit into the battery compartment other than the original Motorcraft battery.

The specification of the battery given by Ford Sime Darby when I inquired is 60 Ah , 590CCA(SAE). From Motorcraft of course.

2-3 years ago, the SA (no longer with SDAC-PJ) took the photos and shown to me the defective part of the steering rack.
Too technical for me to understand their defect design issue.

Now, 3 years + 3 months mileage 75k, some premature failure parts start coming up.
Air-con condensor, heater coil, injector etc......be prepared, some may not under extended warranty.

You really need a lot of energy, times and money to maintain this FORD blue oval product.

My Ford Focus year 2014  air Cond has funny smell and air blower not so strong as compare previously. Anyone of you know any Ford service centre outside which is good and reliable?

Contacted Ford PJ new office but no one pick up.... 

1. 3+2 is standard for all focus mk3/mk3.5. Transferable to next owner.
2. 10 years only TCM. DCT only 5 years. Latest update: - 2 yr (Extend warranty) : Owner have to bare 25% of the cost.
3. 300++(Normal Service) to 1500++ (Major Services)
4. Reliable as long no break down. If anything wrong, at least 3 to 6 month queue time and minimum 7 days for repair
5. Steering Rack (10++k to 15K++), Battery (900++), Cat Con (5k++), Clutch Assy (8k++), Engine Mounting (900++ per pc), Air cond (1.5K++ to 5K++), O2 sensor (<1k), Brake Pad(1.5k ++)

There is a reason for the "steal" for such a stellar car

Word of advise, forget about it.... LOL

Else your might end up consume air/roti kosong just to repair the car....
