Hi guys, need a little help.

I'm currently using BC at 0.70. When i try to upgrade to 0.96, it never finishes installing it, and then when i check my BC, it ends up still in 0.70 and never really made any improvements. Infact, why whole task list was empty.

Advise is needed, thank you.

try uninstall ur 0.70 before install 0.96

Would uninstalling it lead to my tasklist being erased?

just remember to backup the Torrents folder.

kyo, if u want to play safe, backup the whole program folder than, or u can create a new program dir when u install the 0.96 loh.

because of fake peer or sumething about fake
i recommend you using peer guardian 2 and tick for p2p it will block bad /fake ip for torrent the rubbish data will kurang or no more

I had faced some problem recently. whenever I start bitcomet, my connection will on and off disconnect and connect back. roughly 15-20mins disconnect and connect back one time. what is the problem?

anyone experience "out of memory" when using BitComet and multi-tasking??

I experience it last times when scanning PC with AV software with BitComet opened
now, video conversion + BitComet also will make same thing happen...

after "out of memory", the PC will lag, cannot see any word, cannot online
when shut down or restart, it will take very long time (or maybe cannot shut down/restart probably)

after reboot, the task list will gone...

i'm having kinda the same problem here..
at first even if im not downloading anything but the dl n ul speed increase up to 20kb then for few minutes afterwards it dropped down to 0kb, and i can't surf the internet anymore.
but my wireless icon beside the clock shows it keep sending n receiving packets. i need to force unplugged my wireless usb and replug it back to let the connection back to normal..

can anyone help on this?

i did my port-forwarding. is the firewall behind router can be the problem?
coz the other pc connected to the router via ethernet can download at full speed 130+..

Got throttled.. Stupid FAKE download speed rate.. 100+kb/s .. After 1 minute.. downloaded bytes = 240kb..

Should be 104kb x 60 = 6mbs+ After 1 minute ..

AND Another SUPER Insane speed by streamyx..

this few weeks i manage to have download reach 120kbs (after setting to use with DHT) but last week it drop to only 10 to 20kbs only for 4 days then back to 120 (maybe high seed). i'm using ktorrent btw.
