P2P BitComet Thread, Latest:0.99, info at 1st post

Im using version 0.66. At first the download went fine at 50kbps ,
after sometime the DL become 0 and I cannot surf the net at all, I have to restart the both the modem and my computer to recover my conncection

Can anyone teach me how to solve this problem?


Added on November 22, 2007, 2:15 pmNow I found out that it was my computer that choked.
I just need to restart my computer then I can surf Internet.

u can try use opera to c if ur pc can surf net.

find bitcomet.exe and end its process?

After that try surf again.. when u search (either using IE or firefox) bottom there did u saw

How much did you set your connection? Don't set it too high or it would really choke your CPU.

BTW I'm on 0.93 and it's working great although not stable.(30-190kB/s)

Installed 0.97 Beta 20011114 version.
It solved certain issues on 0.96. thumbup.gif

I have set it low like yours before but my computer still choked.

It was my computer that choked not my modem, I can still surf internet using my another laptop, but not my computer. icon_question.gif

my dad pc faced a weird problem...

last time the BC0.66 mod. version can work greatly but recently it cant run at all, even I have do a clean format too. but try other version can run. any idea?

Hmm.. that's what I did last time. My computer choked too and I lowered the connection then it's OK. sweat.gif Maybe you should try the lastest version. hmm.gif

the v0.66 mod got some problem actually...
try use the newest version instead of the mod version...

if you think it is not the v0.66 mod problem, then it is probably malware that eat up your bandwidth......

I think what they mean is v0.66 mod
a super leecher that can download faster than normal BitComet......

not advise to use because it has a lot of bugs......

I didn't use it but heard about it from other people in this thread...... sweat.gif

Guys, I'm still on 0.93. Is 0.96/0.97 beta any good? I'm lazy to switch back and forth beacause I once updated to 0.94 but it hangs on my comp.

yes, every people in Malaysia that using screwmyx also throttled

wanna ask a question...

if i portforward the port inside the router and uncheck the enable upnp and nat/firewall option in the bitcomet, is it the the small icon on the right bottom there will become yellow? i notice that if i enable upnp and nat/firewall, then it will become green. but then, i remember someone from here told me that if i open port inside router, then i no need enable the option d...
