Bitcomet give me errors these past few days(auto close the client and send report thing),i use 0.84 for few month already and today i upgrade to 0.86 but still got error...1 day got 3-5 times auto close,wasted if im away from the pc and let it download and suddenly auto close without me knowing.

Lazy want to try other client as i use bitcomet since 2005.

don't know how to say, but i never get any problem when using bitcomet v0.86

i have no problem in v0.84 juz after v0.84 release...

how about you uninstall it completely and install it back??

if it happens only lately... then try to recall back what u did to your pc for the past few days... installed any program?? change any hardware?? sometimes a program goes wrong it's not because that program itself...

Same here,the frequent error just happen this week so i thought its time to change to 0.86.

I did insert ram last saturday,the pc detect but didn't show it operates so i cabut the ram again,probably that...then again maybe not because I open Azureus as well but didn't give a single error,I always open this two client(some website ban bitcomet)

My case is update from 0.70 to 0.86...

0.70 can giv me 120kb/sec...but after update to 0.86, it only can get 30+-kb/Sec download speed only..

Something wrong with my setting...After chg bac to 0.70 then can get max speed.

from what i get, 0.85 is buggy but 0.86 works fine to me.

agree with you,v0.85 will give an error when u open it for a long time

Somehow, 120kb per second quite normal, that user you quote has typing error I guess.

happen to me also last time when install & uninstall the reinstall & repeat few times.

Try uninstall, then close pc. Then, open pc & remove anything related to bitcomet...the directory in progam files, shorcuts. then close & restart pc. after that install the last working bitcomet version. that what i did. and restart back. only then open bitcomet.

I got unfinished download at 99.9%. I am using bitcomet 0.86 and rapidshare premium account. Any idea what went wrong?

maybe can try this solution???

btw, i also increase my maximum disk cache in BitComet setting (Preferences-Advanced-Disk Cache-Maximum Disk Cache Size) to 100MB and set my max half open connections (Preferences-Advanced-Connection-Max simultaneous half-open connections) according my windows Max simultaneous half-open connections number...

so it's good or same perfomance by full version??

hey, anyone facing the problem where the files actually 100% downloaded but then while keep seeding back the file, the percentage drops back to 97% downloaded.. why is that?

my bitcomet 0.85 download speed is very unstable
sometimes can reach up to 40kb/s
sometimes drop to 0
i think i should change to 0.86
