QUOTE(tan_pang @ Jan 1 2007, 06:55 PM) so, it mean that you do not have any other bt client?? Tuotu cannot use because it can easily be hack by other . My internet explorer 7 kena hack by godzilla after I install tuotu. for me, i think now we must have another backup bt client i use Tuotu as my alternative try µTorrent before, but seen like the task cant be continue and i also dunno why it cant be continue... Tuotu didnt have this problem No good, bitcomet cannot detect any peer from international peering. Need to wait the submarine to fix the cable. |

Bit Comet 0.82 already restore as ussual function because yesterday I notice that beside than local peer, it also prompt out the remote peer.It mean our peering system is about to complete.Yesterday I manage to download a video file more than 153kb per second. Maybe for certain area their IP still remain random block by the TM.

Actually between the version isn't much different and I suggest the people to use the latest version rather than keep themselves in the old version because still contain bug and less function.
It is not a modem failure.During the international link down , Jaring manage to download smoothly but TM user is suffering for that speed. Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(tan_pang @ Jan 26 2007, 11:25 PM) i can see you upload many to our country peer If everybody is thinking about upload limitation then it is very hard for those who just starting the torrent. Let say if you downloading some file and you didn't manage to connect to remote peer and how about if local peer banned your connection from downloading from them?It isn't a good thing because we don't share with each other. Then it is not call p2p anymore.that what we call "local" peer now... your task got many peer... unlike the task that i always download... maybe thats why i cant connect to peer... but i feel strange that you didnt limit your upload... QUOTE(johanhakim @ Jan 27 2007, 06:38 PM) can somebody help me, at first i was using bitcomet and my downloads were moving at pretty good speeds. suddenly, i dunno what happened, my downloads wont start. not even connected to a single peer. tracker all screwed up. before this i had remote and local initiations, but now only ONE miserable local init. i tried a few torrents, none started downloading..... any solution pls? thnx The problem is no seeder and peerer how you gonna to download the file. You did mention only a local pear mean their is no other seeder and peer that connect in a same file. That why it wont run unless you direct download. |

QUOTE(johanhakim @ Jan 27 2007, 08:43 PM) but the problem now is ,before this most torrent i downloaded will start no matter how slow. but this time, it wont at all. and the current file im downloading is only 263.48MB. im using streamyx btw, i use to get 30-40kbs. is there anything i should configure? That speed is quite average and nothing to be configure and it depend most on the seeder. That why in the torrent forum many people request for the seed. That is the main reason of it.This post has been edited by WingKalimdor: Jan 27 2007, 09:28 PM |

QUOTE(tan_pang @ Feb 1 2007, 04:48 PM) same with me Yup, when I read the Japan news , the previous connection peer from global has been reset it mean no peer and seed. Those we connected is the tracker reseed the popular torrent file.If you are downloading old or not very popular file , it's very hard for you to connect to peer even you open it for a week.we can only connect with Malaysia and Japan the 24kBps and 12kBps is from Japan... and both of them also use BitComet... if im not mistaken, is DHEv2 » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Tan Pang, I wonder how they use DHEv2 since they isn't using bittyrant. QUOTE(tan_pang @ Feb 1 2007, 06:02 PM) oops Whatever that we download we totally rely to the PROXY rather then direct connect to the tracker.then i am wrong but that news tell us 'why we can connect to Japan peer'?? everyone in here can try to download something that Japanese might like it then see is there many data you get from them If people still cannot download the file from peer and seed it mean your bandwitch has been set the limitation from the ISP.Better change the ISP instead Ya, I got a question, will our IP be blacklist if we didn't keep the seed for a long period by the certain torrent that require register before can manage to get the torrent? QUOTE(storm721984 @ Feb 2 2007, 01:47 AM) So long i haven't post here and i still stuck in 0.70 Better think twice first because most of the people really cannot adapt in new function.I only like the alert function and auto cond function and save space only.maybe later i should try v0.82 and see the difference |

QUOTE(Shinichi @ Feb 5 2007, 09:25 AM) Hi, don't know if this has been asked before. Is it true that BT can damage HDD after long term usage? If I download BT 24/7, means my hdd will have shorter life span? It does not shorten your hdd lifespan. But when it's running try pressing ctrl-alt-del in winXP and see the RAM Usage for the program. It uses too much resources (100Mb+) while downloading a file.Thanks. Anyway the bitcomet 0.83 has been release but very slow and not very stable for window xp.It special design for vista user. |
