just to confirm, we can only flash kit kat using desktop ODIN3 and if we want to root it, it will trip KNOX right? No other way to flash KIT KAT with root without tripping KNOX right?

Im kinda want to try KIT KAT out but would like to sort out this first.

after i change the platform xml. and set the permission then restart phone and it stuck at the samsung logo and never boot up

Kitkat got two version...XEO & OXX which one is latest or better?

Big possibility you will end up tripping your Knox but if you wanna here are the steps.
- get a separate KitKat bootloader .tar.md5 file.
- download full KitKat firmware from Sammobile
- use MOP to extract the KitKat zip file.
- flash the full KitKat .tar.md5 file using the new MOP features (theoretically. .it should boot into download mode after your flash the full KitKat .tar.md5 file)
- make sure your MOP everroot section all ticked/enabled.

- once in download mode...flash the KitKat bootloader .tar.md5 file using PC Odin.
- let the phone reboot and pray your Knox still 0x0..your root still intact and your phone not bricked...lolz

Xblast working fine so far on kitkat. It still cannot theme the tiles in notification. Going to have to manually change the image myself.
