As promise, here the 3 types of S View chipset design.

Spigen just simply copy counterfeit design.

I saw one over here that has completely different design from the above. Don't know if its any better. Don't tell me we have to eventually bulk order the original chip and put on our ciplak case or spigen one doh.gif

Can anyone test if Daydream works with S View Cover? My life depends on Battery Widget Reborn app. Its a mandatory app that I use to monitor charging and set to Daydream "while charging".

Upgraded to KitKat official. Problems so far:

1) Screen will froze when trying to open an app. Once i tap on it, the screen froze, i click Home button again, the screen ok, i tap app again, open normally.

2) everytime i opened an app eg facebook, instagram, whatsapp. I need to click the Home button twice then only it will close the app and go to home screen. Possibly related issues with no (1)?

Chill. Some of the sifus here's felt that they are solely responsible to help newbies here. But here's a tip, your question been asked a lot of times before and these sifus answer those question many times already that's why they kind of fed up with this newbie questions. I suggest you track back the forum and find your answers to any of your future questions. Chances are, they've been asked before. And of course, please read everything from the FIRST post. Everything that you need to know, its probably there.

And to answer your question, in my own opinion, YES, its always recommended to wipe your phone before (and after) changing (flashing) one rom from another, but not mandatory. If it works, good. If it seems unstable, wipe and flash again and wipe again for good measure. Good luck bro icon_rolleyes.gif and to all sifus and otai, if you feel like you can't help. Dont force yourself and get frustrated. There are other people who are less frustrated that are willing to help as well. icon_rolleyes.gif

somehow i decided to factory reset using the menu in setting.

to my surprise, it does delete everything...including everything in my internal SD...whatsapp files, ringtones, 2gb tar.md5 file, titanium backup folder (bummer) ....

as i remember, in note1, only setting and apps will be deleted but not physical file.

Wyah i remember this when factory reset my galaxy nexus. All folders and files in internal sd are retained. Factory reset my note 3 literally put it back in factory state, only default folders left.
