QUOTE(pai3355 @ Jan 16 2014, 07:53 PM) I never test any car, step on brake pedal at 100 to 0km. I think its more into sensitivity i see.. u meant sensitivity.. like my wife's elantra.. evrytime i drive her car, i had to readjust my braking.. for xv, need to step abit more, which suits my driving style.. Have u test drive volks golf? Try drive around 60kmh n then suddenly hit the brake pedal. I put 90% probability if rear passengers are not ready their head will hit front seats drove a golf tsi before, n yes.. the brake also sensitive.. |

With the current price and 5 year free maintenance, it's a pretty good buy. Bought. It from Zenock and he is as good as it gets in terms of servicing his clients. |

I've been doing some reading about it and somewhat convinced that'll help to reduce the noise levels. Most overseas owner diy it. Doesn't look that hard, does it? Anybody done this before? Diy or done by shop? Please share your thoughts. Tq.A full tank has about 54litres and gets me 570km with 100km remaining shown on dashboard. (plus minus 650km). today i went to sc to rectify the vibration problem..
but unfortunately, the sc will not honor my claim cos wheel balancing is limited to 1500km only... a bit upset cos they never mentioned about the 1.5k km warranty... luckily the shop they asked me to go and do the balancing only charge rm40 for all tyres... |

QUOTE(hwachai @ Jan 18 2014, 09:15 AM) Hrrmm...this is interesting. Most sound proofing that i researched on the internet will involve applying materials on the metal side of the door, not to the door panels. Well, i guess its just a different approach. As long as the end result is satisfying....what the heck.... I'll try to scout what's available in kuantan.... |

The white "cotton pad" like material will help further block/filter sound waves... my installer can also Poslaju to you the material if you cant find it in kuantan... |

QUOTE(hwachai @ Jan 18 2014, 10:15 PM) 1.5k km... hmm.. good to know that yup.... they are putting in greatest effort to push it, good for us. edit : heard the radio promoting subaru xv ... they are trying hard.... Btw, between free service for 5 years 100,000km (worth RM9k+) and RM5,000 cash discount, which one will you choose? I am leaning towards the 5 years free service since my HP repayment will be 5 years. Normally i will only change car after instalment fully settled. RM5000 better option if:Btw, between free service for 5 years 100,000km (worth RM9k+) and RM5,000 cash discount, which one will you choose? You don't use the car often enough to reach 100,000 in 5 years. I will reach 100,000 in less than 4 years hence I took the free maintenance package. No matter how we still need to send to Subaru in order not to void the 5 years/100,000km parts warranty. It's much more pricier than servicing our cars outside. |
