QUOTE(shocker @ Jun 19 2015, 11:57 PM) compared to Malaysian cars, it is a good buy considering the fact that now there is RM6K discount for any variant....but people need to understand that Vios is a entry level Toyota car just like how City is so dont expect too much from a entry level models....yes, of cos we pay around RM70K to RM90K depending on the variant available but if we want a better class car, then be prepared to pay more for Altis, Camry, Civic or Accord....otherwise, it is fine.....on another note, its not Toyota or Honda's fault to put the car price this high, its the Malaysian government and automotive tax policy's fault.... I bought a vios G spec last year with original toyota lcd display. But not this style. Not sure whether can go change to new type?just so some of us should know, the new Vios is a little bit heavier than the previous generation model therefore we might see some higher FC difference if compared the current Vios with the previous one.... not sure if previous version of AVN system can be upgraded to latest look (whether software or hardware) or not, the newer type AVN system cost about RM3100....just to share the price tag..... it is original from Toyota and u will get this for free (almost) as part of current promotion if u take the G spec or the TRD Sportivo Vios....for other models, u have to pay for it.....not mistaken RM3100 or so and not sure if the price already included labor and installation charges.... |

QUOTE(BravoZeroTwo @ Jun 20 2015, 12:58 PM) Nissan Almera is also another entry level car but from Nissan....for me I suppose its a good car for long run usage but I dont really like the design especially the latest facelift one whereby its more hideous compared to before facelift.....even after put bodykit also still cannot compensate or reduce the ugliness of the design in my opinion....therefore I didnt consider it at all.....for the price, quality and brand name of Nissan I believe its worth it but need to know like Mazda, Nissan also got no good resale value eventhough its brand is from Japan.... but if u are going to use it like for a long run say maybe more than 5 years or so and dont mind the design (inside and out) then by all means go for it....Nissan itself is a good brand with long term quality....u can see a lot of taxis are using Nissan cars as the quality and reliability is there.... QUOTE(mengfart @ Jun 22 2015, 09:26 AM) anything sub RM10k for a bolt on is consider good deal. But, do take note that you need to mod other parts in order to compliment the increased torque and HP. This would includes clutch, suspension setup, tyres, exhaust system from manifold down to the tail pipe. Then, you need to mod the intake as well. So, its easily another RM10k on top of the BOT kit. hope this helps.
