QUOTE(loon1386 @ Jan 12 2014, 11:42 PM) QUOTE(aromachong @ Jan 13 2014, 11:29 AM) overall its dashboard sound in precise.. lol . Just collected my car at 5pm. Sent in at 2pm... Went for a spin with the technical head. He heard the knocking noise as well.i think if lower arm / suspension if adjusted properly wont have this kind of sound or will lessen the noise. will wait to update roxy for the today's update and hopefully it's a good news Upon collection, he told me that he tested it and no more noise heard. What he did was tighten up the lower arm screw and all suspensions screws and nuts. Apart from this, he applied grease on all possible suspension joints/bushing as well. Following is what written on the ServiceOrder: ![]() Drove like 10km back home, no noise heard yet. Still cant confirm if it solved the issue. Will monitor for the next few days. As for noisy eps sound, its normal. Loose brake pedal, normal also since its freePlay mechanism. QUOTE(aromachong @ Jan 13 2014, 04:06 PM) Done, pls refer above. This post has been edited by RoxyMunky: Jan 13 2014, 05:45 PM |

At idea where to get mats for the new vios ?
The G spec comes with light brown color mats. It gets dirty very easily. Prefer those non coil mats. |

Finally managed to install the Toyota Double DIN player from Pioneer.
Installing it was PITA especially unscrewing the bracket holder from the old player. Sound quality and bass definitely better than the stock player. The stock speaker for G spec is already good enough to produce the bass and treble. Streaming BT Audio from my N4 using Google Play Music and equalizer setting turn ON in phone can produce richer deeper bass.. The rattling sound at the dashboard is also gone after I install this player. Attached thumbnail(s) |
