Go Automotive Garage and search for it

Quite some people selling the stock ones after touchscreen upgrade.

Btw, car is in SC now... Pending check on the front knocking sound.

overall its dashboard sound in precise.. lol .

i think if lower arm / suspension if adjusted properly wont have this kind of sound or will lessen the noise.

will wait to update roxy for the today's update and hopefully it's a good news

Just collected my car at 5pm. Sent in at 2pm... Went for a spin with the technical head. He heard the knocking noise as well.

Upon collection, he told me that he tested it and no more noise heard. What he did was tighten up the lower arm screw and all suspensions screws and nuts. Apart from this, he applied grease on all possible suspension joints/bushing as well.

Following is what written on the ServiceOrder:

Drove like 10km back home, no noise heard yet. Still cant confirm if it solved the issue. Will monitor for the next few days.

As for noisy eps sound, its normal. Loose brake pedal, normal also since its freePlay mechanism. sweat.gif

hmm.. loose brake pedal i dun have this issue.. u should insist for a change for a new one since its still under warranty.

alright will wait for your update for next few days..

so now u try purposely drive through bumpy roads like before and no more knocking sound?

well i guess the solution is really to tighten lower arm/suspensions screws/nuts issue and put some grease?

hmm took u 3 hours for all these things to settle up?

They tighten up all 4 arms... Now my rear legs got squeaking sound upon crossing speedbumps.

Perhaps too tight?

Or maybe let it rundown first... And see how it goes... hmm.gif

At idea where to get mats for the new vios ?
The G spec comes with light brown color mats. It gets dirty very easily.
Prefer those non coil mats.

Finally managed to install the Toyota Double DIN player from Pioneer.
Installing it was PITA especially unscrewing the bracket holder from the old player.
Sound quality and bass definitely better than the stock player.

The stock speaker for G spec is already good enough to produce the bass and treble.

Streaming BT Audio from my N4 using Google Play Music and equalizer setting turn ON in phone can produce richer deeper bass.. cool.gif thumbup.gif

The rattling sound at the dashboard is also gone after I install this player. tongue.gif
