Can you provide the battery rating for the new vios?

Finally managed to install the Toyota Double DIN player from Pioneer.
Installing it was PITA especially unscrewing the bracket holder from the old player.
Sound quality and bass definitely better than the stock player.

The stock speaker for G spec is already good enough to produce the bass and treble.

Streaming BT Audio from my N4 using Google Play Music and equalizer setting turn ON in phone can produce richer deeper bass.. cool.gif thumbup.gif

The rattling sound at the dashboard is also gone after I install this player. tongue.gif

bro, yours is G spec? how much is the player? and also if G spec, its an integrated player, the panel is charged separately?
*
Hi kenji1903, bought the player around 400 and already installed it Dec last year.
Found the player in a Facebook VIOS group.

I bought the double din casing separately from online site below during their sale last year.

Is it possible that when u change the HU,any disgusting sound come up from the dashboard due to not fitted well?
*
When i disassemble the audio panel and other parts, there were no loose fittings to be found. Some cables were wrapped in foams to avoid any unwanted knocking sound or short circuit.
I remember the rattling sound was coming from the dashboard and the car was park under the sun. Once i turn the aircon, the sound disappear.

plastiDIP it any color you want, their new products will definitely attract you.. New series of Aikka moonlight (glows in the dark) plastiDIP is awesome haha
*
Heard of plastidip b4,
thought it was use for tire rims only. If its safe to be use on plastic material, then might consider that options.

The audio panel cost me about RM 175. OEM Taiwan. Still cheaper than buying ori. Quality almost the same as ori.

walked out in 1 peace. Really glad and impressed with the car strong chassis.
my friend was on 308T with 215/45/17 rubber... PS3.... nicely cut in and out at 100+. I was behind him... He's on fast lane, and i was on left lane.

Suspected hit a wooden block because my front wheel just skidded straight away when i'm about to make my turning.

Right after i flipped, within seconds the towMan is walking towards me from the highway. I was surprised by their "efficiency".

You guys becareful at "black spots" in around town area.

Peace.
*
Hit a block and seconds later the towman appear from nowhere..Too efficient already.. hmm.gif

QUOTE(RoxyMunky @ Mar 19 2014, 12:03 PM)
finally solved this... collected my car on Monday late noon.

The rattling noise is gone. Its actually comes from the seatbelt mechanism on driver side B pillar; behind the plastic housings. Phew!

However, i would like to share that this particular Toyota Balakong SC is not recommended if you plan to leave your car there for some time. After i collected my car:
1. Got thick grease stain on my car seat, and B pillar body.
2. Some kind of liquid on my car mat on rear seat
3. Scratches all over my plastic housing that covers the B pillar; and door panels after they fiddle around with
4. My fuel tank becomes EMPTY; whereby my ODO trip meters at 290km only. My average mileage per tank is around 400. When i send in my car, it was around 210km.
5. My total ODO was around 58xx, when i got my car; its at 59xx. I highly suspected that they drive my car around and thrash it.
6. Sweet liquid(like Teh or Milo) stain on my cabin; especially the centre console cover.

I wonder if i could bang table at their Manager office.

I'm so pissed off now.

Should also complain to the Service Advisor on the spot when you take ur car and take photos of the problem that you have mentioned above as proof.
Perhaps Toyota should compensate you with free service or other things for ur inconvenience.

Guys,

Need your advise. My friend just bought new Vios and due to human error, got few paint scratch. Plastic dashboard, side doors plastic and fabric seat seems getting dirty. Easy solution is going to car wash center but for DIY (Do It Yourself), my question;

1. Any good car waxing brand especially reduce paint     scratches.
2. Interior car care brand- fabric seats and dashboard.
3. Any products for cleaning tyre and wheel?

Thank you.

Regards,

Rassan

For those that have registered with Tribe Toyota,
does your service interval in Tribe is set to every 5K or 10K?
My preferred oil is always semi sync, therefore the next service is 10K. Don't know if it's only me or affect the others as well.
Those who still use mineral, what is ur service interval set to?

first 1k and 5k is mineral... coming 10k is semiSyn.

I believe only fully synthetic able to achieve 10K mileage, for semi not too sure though. RoxyMunky, u dare to push for 10K until your next service?
