QUOTE(Loongy22 @ Feb 5 2014, 07:23 AM) So i googled about that restaurant and there is this one blogger who wrote about his experience. The waitress had a grim look while serving, bowed slightly and then waited to see if he would actually consume the fish |

Is it true? u mean malaysia custom? most of the time nobody is checking nothing, in my last 10 trips in and out of malaysia (within a 3 months period), i never saw ANYBODY checking luggage being in LCCT or KLIA...If so, how is it calculated? Thanks guys! if u worried they charge tax, just open the bought items, separate the box from the item itself (with a different bag) and u will be ok. Hi guys, I'm planning to stay with a Japanese family (rent a room there) and maybe even hire a free tour guide.
I thinking of giving them a gift from Malaysia when I see them as a thank you/Hello or something. Is that ok or not encouraged (like tipping)? If its ok, what kind of gifts from here that I should give them? The only special thing that I can think of thats from Malaysia is durian and orang utan which don't seem to be good gifts. Maybe souvenirs like key chain or something? This post has been edited by masterelr: Feb 5 2014, 09:58 PM |
