So i googled about that restaurant and there is this one blogger who wrote about his experience. The waitress had a grim look while serving, bowed slightly and then waited to see if he would actually consume the fish laugh.gif

Just curious. Since u can always taste Japanese food in Japan. Have u ever tried any Japanese food in Malaysia and is there any shops that are close enough to Japan's level? I didn't eat Japanese food in Malaysia for few months after back from Japan. Cause still miss the Jap food there and cannot accept the lower standard Jap food in KL

Another is in Subang Jaya, SS17 I think its called Kinpachi. A lot of Japanese goes there and everyday they have some special menu where its written on a board in Japanese. Last I been there was 3 years ago. So I am not sure if it still taste good.

u mean malaysia custom? most of the time nobody is checking nothing, in my last 10 trips in and out of malaysia (within a 3 months period), i never saw ANYBODY checking luggage being in LCCT or KLIA...

if u worried they charge tax, just open the bought items, separate the box from the item itself (with a different bag) and u will be ok.

Hi guys, I'm planning to stay with a Japanese family (rent a room there) and maybe even hire a free tour guide.
I thinking of giving them a gift from Malaysia when I see them as a thank you/Hello or something. Is that ok or not encouraged (like tipping)?
If its ok, what kind of gifts from here that I should give them? The only special thing that I can think of thats from Malaysia is durian and orang utan which don't seem to be good gifts. Maybe souvenirs like key chain or something?

Disneysea is already a very 'grown up' version of Disney. Lucky you never went Disneyland, then you lagi facepalm. Want totally grown up theme park need to go Six Flags, Universal Studios franchises icon_idea.gif
