QUOTE(masterelr @ Feb 5 2014, 09:56 PM) Hi guys, I'm planning to stay with a Japanese family (rent a room there) and maybe even hire a free tour guide. batik. Kain pelikat. Any malaysian handicraftsI thinking of giving them a gift from Malaysia when I see them as a thank you/Hello or something. Is that ok or not encouraged (like tipping)? If its ok, what kind of gifts from here that I should give them? The only special thing that I can think of thats from Malaysia is durian and orang utan which don't seem to be good gifts. Maybe souvenirs like key chain or something? |
