QUOTE(Loongy22 @ Feb 2 2014, 03:39 PM) Ooooh zerosp and regentcid, you're both over here eh! I haven't seen you guys in quite a while since the C&C days. lol. What are you guys doing these days? Quick question, I'm going to Japan at the March 31 - apr 12 ish. Where do you guys look up concerts in Japan and is there anything interesting in Fukushima? I'm looking to spend one day near Osaka but not sure where yet. Concerts eh, not really sure... But regarding Osaka, since you are quite a cosplayer, Nipponbashi aka Den-den town is a place to look see look see?

I have used my MY credit card in most shops, even in kampong and I don't have any issue so far. But definitely its better to exchange your cash in MY rather than in Japan. As for Japan is a cash society that is quite and interesting topic. My staff normally carries a stack of 10,000yen of cash wherever they go, and the most I have in the wallet is 10000yen...still the Malaysian mentality of scared being rob. At the same time, you can pay at the convenience store using your SUICA/PASMO or even cell phone. Even vending machine is cashless.

^ true that.
And just add, remember to inform your CC issuer that you might be using them during your travelling period, and bring a spare CC just in case.
