My face was the worst face wif a lot of acne. So i am considered experienced in combatting pimples. my advice, drink lots of water, eat veges, no or little preservative n ajinomoto n oily fuds n spicy fuds. Extra tips: eat sweetpotatoes9detoxification) and sea algaes
Sweet potato is okie, but sea algae, I don't think highly consuming it will help because as we know that sea products contain a lots of iodine. And when you google around, you will somehow find out there's a link between acne and iodine. Over dosage of iodine will contribute to acne.

i got my acne cleared up by having a drug called
co-trimazole by Ting Skin Clinic's Dr Ting located somewhere near Imbi's Sakura night club.
after having the drug for 6 months, no breakout happened. then to get rid of my oil seed, i took another drug called
Nimegen (Isotetrinoin) which stops oil production and lessen my oil seed problem...
and the doctor also prescribed me a cream, it worked like a charm. for those who have severe acne, i think medical assistance is really a must.

i tried Neutrogena before. hell, it wasn't suitable for me.

if you guys found that Neutrogena works for ya, go ahead and continue the regimen.

Well, Accutane is isotretinoin, a vitamin A derivative administered in pill form. It is usually taken for a period of four or five months. Doctors often recommend it to people with severe acne, the kind that can scar. Accutane is a hard-core medication which works from the inside out, shrinking the oil glands.
Accutane is widely considered the most important advance in acne treatment ever. Accutane results are often dramatic and permanent. Initially, it worked miracles. After a few weeks on Accutane, breakouts might stop dead in their tracks. Some will experienced no breakouts whatsoever for the remainder of the time you took the prescription. People with fantastic skin would come up to you and say, "I wish I had your skin". It was pretty incredible.
However, the drug is very powerful. Accutane side effects are numerous and can be severe. Bones and joints ached while one is taking the prescription. The joints have never fully returned to their pre-accutane state. One might fell very dried out during the course of accutane. Lips got severely chapped and eyes will also felt strange and dry at times.
The side effect of accutane will be severe, so its advisable that if there's no alternative, perhaps you should not take it.

jinyee80,actually now my face is in OK condition with occasional breakouts(especially during exams). My skin type is combination skin(oily in the T-zone).So,can u recommend me any on-the-counter acne scar treatment that really work??many thankz..
For shallow scar, microdermabrasion should help.
http://www.dermanew.comI used to know that recently they juz have an agent in Malaysia, so the cost will not be as high as the price it was sold in the States.
Anyhow, should you intend for a more natural way, please visit
http://www.elicina.com for more info.
