Is the the recommended regimen(cethapil cleanser + mosturiser and PanOxyl) suitable for me? I'm a teenage guy and i have being having acne which appears frequently. The acnes appears usually 1 or 2 around the cheek area mostly. Although they dont apear much at a time but they appear frequently. And these acne sometimes turn worse and inflamation and swelling occurs which last 1-2weeks. And some even worse. Sometimes bumps appear in a form of darkened spot and i think there is pus inside.

And my skin sometimes appear to be dry and dehydrated. Is it because of the air cond? My whole house is air conditioned and i sleep with the air cond on too.

Thanks smile.gif

Yup, the regimen suits you. The condition happens repeatedly at the same place is because you did not clear up the remaining bacteria in the pores which this lead to another break out.

The recommended products cetaphil gentle skin cleanser and cetaphil skin moisturiser are used for the face? The skin cleanser doesn't write that it's use for skin. And there's also a Cetaphil Daily Facial Wash. I'm just confirming because the sales person say it's for overall skin usage.

Benzoyl Peroxide(BP) is to be applied on the pimple and the surrounding or onto the whole face? How if when there is no pimple? The regimen requires application of BP every 2 nights for the 1st week and every night the week after.

The regimen is Cleanse > BP > Moisturise. After applying BP on a spot, do i apply moisturiser on the spot above the BP layer?

Thanks.

Cetaphil gentle cleanser cleanses your skin gently, without stripping the sebum layer on your skin. Sebum is kinda of 'good' oil that shield your skin from contaminants. Therefore, you felt oilier because your previous cleanser has given you the 'clean and dry' feeling.

Owh okay.

I'm not sure whether this is the right place to ask. Some time ago i had a pimple and my hands got itchy and i pressed and popped it. Time passed by and the scar on the surface of the skin that came after the pimple already cured. However below the skin there is a "lump" of flesh. It can't be seen but could felt. Is the lump of flesh dangerous? Is it a growth or something?

Thanks.

Jinyee will the peeling caused by BP last as long as i use it or only for the 1st few weeks?

I am supposed to apply BP every night to areas that most likely to develop acne. Do i still need to apply when my face have no acne just for prevention?

Thanks.
