Mine also having to same issue, my car is still under warranty cause only 4 years. However the SC said I need to pay under to 2K for repairing because not all part is under warranty. Therefore I still hold on for it. I'm still wondering why it is not under warranty. Anyone check confirm on this?

Didn't buy, went to test drive only when deciding between the VW Passat, H.Civic and Elantra Sport.

Power and handling no doubt Elantra Sport better.

But overall package I'll choose the H. Civic, the car just feel more premium.
Power can be brought on par with the Elantra Sport with an ECU re-map.

VW Passat for similar price point get really out-of-date package, only the 1.8 TSI engine and DSG was it's saving grace

Hi All, I plan to refurbish/retouch my 2013 elantra HS after 5 years of driving. Anyone know where can I do that and how much it is cost?

I would say after 5 years/60k mileage of usage, there are some ngek ngek sound from inside the cabin (probably due to loose screw) and also knocking sound in the engine. So I wanted to get rid of these annoying noise.

anything can be recommended is appreciated.

AFAIK no such thing as sell casing only, the best i can think off is you get chop shop side mirror and then just take the casing.
I suspect maybe the thief had the same problem, and instead of buying whole side mirror he decide to just steal the part needed.

Mine was sound coming from steering, i got the replacement for steering rack lucky that found out this 1 month before warranty expired. It was done by SC Glenmarie, was told that the cost is around 3k. Maybe you can check with Glenmarie.
I also having this issue, and this is due to front absorber problem need to replace, but i just leave it there as the cost need RM700 - RM800 for a pair.

That's rather expensive

https://shopee.com.my/Hyundai-Elantra-MD-20...38159.989310124

i sold my car as i also had knocking noise when going over bumps, my steering also having some tuk tuk noise, aircond gas leaks as well. abs pump is leaking by abit too. gave up maintaining this car as all the parts are either hard to get or wait for a long lead time or expensive.
