Normally. All elantra has that. Engine recalibration for next startup.

So to your answer, the sound is the mechanism inside engine bay spinning down, shutting off, park. Mine does that too.

If you hear other noise then the 3 "tak", then you need to check.

My 2014 Elantra 1.6 got involved in an accident - the left mirror (passenger side) is broken
Can anyone suggest where to get a replacement (except SC lah, too expensive). I don't mind getting from a half-cut shop or a used unit if it's still functioning

Some owners went back to service center RM350-400 inclusive of labor. I changed mine few months ago, bought from Lazada RM100+ for genuine part and DIY myself haha.
Did your airbags light come on or steering wheel control not working?

I think any workshop or accessory shop should be able to do it. If you're comfortable, you can refer to YouTube for guidance. That's what I did
