my elantra has engine mount issues (car starts to vibrate)

is it recommended to replace it completely? (got quoted 1000++) for this

is it something that just a bolt nut and screw back tighter will do?

or its more complicated than that and recommended to replace it?

Mind to share your mileage? Is the vibration more apparent when idling on D ?

Left mount already spoil while middle and right mount still ok

I see. My 2013 1.6 only 75k km. I felt some minor resonance on D but still not that annoying until make the interior rattles like old car. Maybe still early to change.  Btw my car is not elantra, just same heart as elantra. Hehe.

mounting just cost you around 500 for one whole set. try go for other workshop instead of service centers for a quote.

once changed, your car will feel like new.

Finally i got myself a KYB absorber from local store. I can say that it dramatically reduced the fishtail effect if not totally eliminate it. Before installing Ultra racing bars, I highly recommend change to this absorber first! The rear absorber costs RM95 per piece. Can get from local KYB dealers. Hope this helps anyone out there thinking how to solve the fistail issue.

My 2013 1.6 Elantra exhibits same symptoms..car vibrates when engage in D.

Btw my car clocks 160k++ km..LOL

yo  can i ask whats your elantra year and spec..?
mine is year 2012 and the fishtail + oversteer issue is the worse. not sure whether kyb suspension will fix

My rear absorbers were replaced by SC years ago when i complaint fishtail effect during corners and high speed (around 120kph-160kph).
Works fine now. FYI factory fitted absorbers were APM, SC gave me original hyundai absorbers from Korea.
