Deso was popular back in DotA 1 because searing arrows didn't go through magic immunity (like Impetus its castable, but the additional damage wasn't dealt).
The recent change in DotA 2 allowing it to go through BKB means you can get free +60 physical damage per hit without having to purchase any items. Makes more sense to pick up an Eye of Skadi these days. |

Skadi makes for good luxury item after mkb+orchid if BKB isn't really required. what do u guys think about starladder season 9? they focused on worldwide but leave out the SEA division and go with the Korea
