What you can do is get the robe of magi/sobi mask early instead of quarterstaff first. This together with the Aquila keeps me up. Ofc soul ring works too, since the hp added on counters the hp loss. But usually, just getting Aquila and getting the oblivion staff makes me okay mana wise..if really need more, get treads before orchid and tread swap before death pact.

if u dont want to waste money, just get soul ring.

use soul ring then eat creep. soul ring + 150 mana eat creep + ur hp back.

soul ring can also be use in weird circumstances like when u are out of mana to invi, pop soul ring and run.

aquila is good but in long run, soul ring is just a better choice.

but then again, that's just my opinion.

I like aquila for the bonus damage(+15) and the aura helps when you're split pushing towers and it goes well with my start items ( wraith + tango ). Plus once the orchid is done, your mana problems are quite over icon_rolleyes.gif

instant mana when you need in in bad situation, compare to aquilla, you will see people scream - JUST 1 MORE MANA TO INVI!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Bro,

Just checked dotabuff on your skill build. Did you always max your Windwalk first before searing arrows ?

If you are HERO Farmer clinkz, i think maxing Searing arrows is more feasible, as you would shoot lesser arrow to kill off a target = Lesser mana consumption.

The 5 - 6 searing arrows mana (50-60) could save you from insufficient mana to windwalk.

I agree, best way to build clinkz is to keep WW at lvl 1 till you max the other skills. Alternate strafe and searing arrows(priority) and ulti when possible. Searing hurts like hell early game, you wanna abuse it against those squishy supports. And plus since you'll be constantly ww looking for pickoffs, the passive regen from orchid+aquila can refill your mana damn fast. The reason clinkz gets away with orchid first and not a dmg item, is because he has an alternate damage buff with searing arrows, so max that first.

not using Clinkz often, because last last round the clinkz gank (solo) like hell so i want to try it.
so i better play safe, i scare early game people use ward counter me so i max WW for run like the wind laugh.gif

that game also totally fail because medusa keep killed by clinkz while WK keep NC like blind, i also can't switch lane at bottom early game because i and DK can't farm at all. and i had to keep buy ward doh.gif
in short, all lane fail.

i will try aquarious ring next time and max 2nd skill... but tonight can't play, gotta do tournament set for upcoming tournament hehe brows.gif

on the matter of ww, personally, i think 1 strafe-max sa- 2-3 points into ww- ulti is a better choice.

why?

bone is a ganking hero. u wont farm most of the time, and u will roam alot.

maxing ww first after sa is a clearly better choice. maxing strafe doesnt add up any more attack speed rather than duration, which if u think clearly, enemy will try to get away after 2-3 sec u are hitting him

so in conclusion sa>ww>strafe

take ulti whenever u can, and remember u need 1 point of strafe early on

No I don't think that's best for bone. Getting orchid as fast as possible is crucial, especially by the 13-15 minutes mark. After that the effectiveness of searing starts to wear off already. Best if people rotate into your lane for a kill. Searing>Strafe>WW. 1 point of WW is enough early, the extra seconds of strafe can make the difference between a kill and a support running away with 20hp.

the movement speed help u chase to clean things up.

most pro build go for 1 strafe max ww and sa.

but whateva rolleyes.gif

strafe lvl 1 already provide 4 sec of 130 attack speed.
additional lvl add 2 more second

ww lvl 1 provide 11% extra ms.
additional lvl provide an extra 11%

in high tier situation, u usually wont get chance where u can sit and strafe for full 10 second duration.

while maxing ww provide u utility to roam around with 522 ms.

ur choice.

yea...if ur good enough,by lv 6/7 u can get half orchid at least...
and i dont mean full time gank,just gank once or twice then back lane farm ur orchid then only go more on ganking.cos lv 7 roam = all enemy still hvnt get core item and still soft..
the dmg is very significant with max searing arrow and ulti.
easy kill,for team game,successful gank can help teammate farm as well

and about skill build,i go 2 lv ww as thats the time for cd ,by lv 8 1 strafe max sear 1 ulti 2 ww..
but strafe epends on situation when i up,cos i dun go soul ring build,mana sometimes become a prob at early game

Ive always wanted to try an old build of not going searing arrows but max strafe and ww. Rush deso like the old days... One day I should try it out...
