Thought of calling but scared if they ask me to show them past 7 years receipt.
hahahhah. Last year already got audited but they did inform that my file was being audited and they requested for the receipts, but this year no news at all.

U did not need to show them past 7 year receipt during audit?

They only requested for the receipts for FY2013 submission, not the past 7 years.

When you get audited, only answer what being asked. Don't answer any others .
Once they start audit you, they will start to audit past 7 years also. They will ask when they found out mistakes, else they will just keep quiet.

Anyone tried paying Income Tax via credit card?

I noticed there is a 0.8% surcharge for credit card payment. ( Caj Pentadbiran Pengeluar Kad ). and also GST charges as well.

What i am wondering now is... if one has a 5% cashback card for example. would it make more sense to pay via credit card? Since the 5% would offset the surcharges and GST, while at the same time give u a little extra $$ and extend the credit terms of the income tax payment.

Thoughts?

You can submit next year and put 2013 and 2014 under the section "PENDAPATAN TAHUN KEBELAKANGAN YANG BELUM DILAPORKAN"

Hi Tax Pros,

I got some questions for my situation.

1) I am working a full time job in SG, but I spend 2/3 of the month in MY working at home office. I am paying my income tax to SG now. This correct?

2) I have a sole prop registered in SG, running ok. Profit is added to my personal income tax and pay to SG.

3) I will be registering another Sdn Bhd in MY, up and running within this year. The profit from the Sdn Bhd pay tax to MY?

4) If I am doing most of the work for my SG full time job and sole prop in my home in MY, I should pay tax to who?

Thank you.

If you have sdn bhd company, you need to engage company secretary and auditor to file your income tax. Then you only need to pay the amount of tax need to be paid to the company secretary.

thanks.

First, your income is employment or business? Both also can submit through e-filing.

If you have one, do it now. If no, you may register through online.

If you want to leave it for professionals, please do. They will tell you what to do, how to do.
