Huh, I take a lot of stuffs every time I go back, since I usually only go back once a year..
Even brought a 27inch monitor back in my luggage lol

Airport duty free is normally not as cheap as those that are sold in the city anyway, though there's the online duty free website that you order and pick up at the airport but those are mostly used for buying branded bags.

I always use AirAsia morning flight and the queue won't be so long since it's early in the morning but have to wake up early lo biggrin.gif

Never knew about the cosmetics surgery and pictures though haha thumbsup.gif

whoa.. you bought so much not afraid being tax once reach Msia tongue.gif

yea i seldom buy from airport duty free but i saw lotsa tourists buy especially PRC cause they have more discounts laugh.gif

i get to know because previously my friends and i queue behind few koreans (different lane) and it took so long for them to check compare non citizen. so my friends and i wonder what the officer check. then we saw on the screen got those images. from before surgery to the latest image. if one done many surgeries, hence it will show up more image.. i saw before some got 2 pages shocking.gif so i guess this checking only applies to koreans. also i wonder how is the person going to return back to the home country if he/she go to korea for cosmetic surgery? 2 different faces in the passport hmm.gif laugh.gif

Never got taxed before.. I put inside luggage along with clothes, and not like it's expensive enough to be taxed anyway~
The PRC are doing round trips every day.
Some of them their job is to board a flight to Korea carry the things then go back on the next flight.
On China airlines, their cabin luggage is unlimited as long as you can carry them

Hi all, im heading to jeju this coming september, i will be reaching jeju airport in the evening, n booked the car on next day.

My plan is actually to settle down in a hotel on the day of arrival at downtown jeju, n subsequent get the car from the car rental company(hertz) which is situated near Jeju Airport.

Is this arrangement recon? Would it be troublesome/exp to travel (by taxi or bus) to the car rental place from downtown jeju?

Your advice is much appreciated.

Did you check the price at SIXT? If i were you, i wouldn't go through all that trouble to get the car the nx day especially when SIXT is really cheap.

Hi guys, am still reading the posts , need abit of time. Meantime, please comment on my itinerary. Going on October 14 (Friday). So far, only booked Jeju flight ticket. Apologies for obvious need for spoon feed.

Day 1. (friday)

Reach Incheon airport at 4pm. Not sure bus or train to city. Plan to stay at dongdaemun coz friday night is happening. Not sure where to stay. Recommend me pls. (2pax, budget around RM150 a night)

Day 2 (saturday)

Taking shuttle bus to Everland (i know the crowd will be crazy on weekend) from Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station. Will miss the fireworks coz need to catch the bus back. Bus departs at 6pm. Will i be able to go N'Seoul Tower, or shall i just go to Dongdaemun Deisgn Plaza. Shall i continue staying at Dongdemun or move to other place to stay like Myeongdung (bring all my stuff to everland)

Day 3 (sunday)

Going to Nami Island . Dont know what to do at night

Day 4 (monday)

Planning to take Seoul City Tour from Gwanghwamun. Plan to go the stream/river (walk or use this bus?) . How about .Noryangjin Fish Market , is it nearby?
The route is as follows. Pls comment on the route. I really dont know where to just skip (hotels i know). Dont know what to do at night. Is nanta show worth it?

Attached Image

Day 5 (tuesday )

Ehwa Woman Universtity, Yonsei University and then Hongdae? Ive no idea what to do on this day

Day 6 (wed)

Go to JEju. Reach around 5pm. Should i rent car this day or wait nx day to rent for whole day(more worth it). We only have 2 person, perhaps tour bus more worth it? Places to go include ShinjejuBaozen Street and Cityhall. Food to try : Black pork, okdumgui (tile fish), porridge, raw seafood, tangerines.

Day 7 (thurs)

visits to Yongduam Rock,Udo Island,Seongsanilchulbong sunrise peak,seopjikoji

day 8 (friday)

Day 9

Back to Incheon (reach 12.30om). Flight to KL at 4.30pm

I will be going to Korea for two weeks for honeymoon. Should I rent a mobile wifi or a sim card, or purchase a sim card? Which would be a better choice?

how many person in your trip? i personally prefer driving but some people want less hassle and opt for hiring the taxi. it's not convenient to take bus in jeju.. distance from 1 attractions to another is not near.

Guys,

Planning to go for S.Korea on Nov....already bought tickets...its for honeymoon anyway... biggrin.gif
will be a midnight flight on 8th Nov, reach there 7am 9th Nov.
my return flight is 19th Nov 4pm

A few things in mind that is troubling now....would be great if you guys can help advise...

1) I plan to have a domestic trip to Jeju as well....thinking of if can just fly to there on 9th after reach Incheon. The concern is the time required to get from Incheon to Gimpo, with all the stuffs u need to do (custom clearance, get WIFI/EGsim, T-money, etc), then transit to Gimpo, and drop luggage at some storage/deposit service (they do have in Gimpo airport right?), then check-in for domestic....what is the best time i should pick for the Jeju flight? lets assume if my flight may be delay n reach on 8am, what is the buffer i required to get to Gimpo and ready without too rush? 12pm?

2) If going Jeju, for sure i prefer to dump half of my luggage at somewhere without carrying to Jeju for nothing. I was told there is 1 luggage counter somewhere in Gimpo? is it true? if yes, how much the cost for a 24/28" luggage? i plan to make it 9-12 if possible.

3) Any recommendation for car rental if i wish to opt for self-drive there? if with smaller luggage, i guess A-seg car good enough?

4) what is the best airline to look for? Jeju Air? Air Busan?

5) Any recommended accommodation in Jeju/Seoul? I yet to book any? is AirBnB legal there?

6) Is it got free gift/coupon booklet to giveaway from KTO in KL? Do i need anything/document to get it? Since i going November, what is the best time to go to their office to redeem?

Thanks for any help. TQ

Suggest you to spend one night in seoul, and flight to jeju the following day. One stone kill 2 birds, you no need have to worry about flight delay and you can keep your luggage at the hotel too(FOC).
