What do you guys think about this if i were to travel with my mom. Is this sufficient?

Kul > Busan ( 1 night) > Jeju (3 nights) > Seoul ( 7 nights).

And do you guys recommend to drive in Jeju and Seoul?

Is this your first time in Korea? Somehow i feel Jeju and Busan can be longer..

no recommended time la.. as you preferred.. but if you want to explore more, of cause arrive in the morning. if you have more than 2 pax, rent a car is cheaper. i prefer rent a car eventhough 2 pax tongue.gif

I have edited some of my itinerary, does this looks better?

Day 1
Myeongdong
Namsan Park
N Seoul Tower
Gwangjang Market

This one you need to timing correctly. After dinner at Myeongdong then go N Seoul Tower to see night view.
Namsan Park is almost = N Seoul Tower since N Seoul Tower is actually called Namsam Tower sometimes

Day 2
Hongdae + Trick Eye Museum
Sinchon
Ewha
COEX Mall + Aquarium
Gangnam

Skip the Trick Eye Museum, it's a tourist trap.
Can skip COEX Mall unless you wanna do shopping. However, if want shopping, Gangnam and Shinsa-dong 신사 are better places IMO.
It depends on your "style" also. Abercrombie and Fitch has a shop at Shinsa and other foreign brands also at Shinsa area.
Here you also might want to reconsider the timings. Morning at Gangnam area, then Evening/Night at Sinchon, Ewha  then Hongdae.

Day 3
Gyeongbokgung
Gwanghwamun
Cheongwadae
Bukchon Hanok Village
Insadong

This is definitely too packed. Unless you plan 1 hour on each places.

Day 4
Lotte Mart
Namdaemun
Itaewon
Noryangjin Fish Market

Better merge Namdaemun with Myeongdong since both are quite close and go to the Cheonggyecheon stream/river too.
Itaewon better for at night.
Noryangjin better during Winter ( not sure when you are coming though )

Day 5
Namisan Island
Petite France
Dongdaemun
Cheonggyecheon Stream

Dongdaemun, Namdaemun, Cheonggyecheon, Myeongdong are same area.
While namisan, Petite france is outside of Seoul.
Better whole day for Nami Islan and Petite France, then if you still have time at that day, then only go some other places.

Day 6
Back to KL

For shopping,
3 main types of brands:
Not very cheap, sometimes cheap but Korea/Taobao clothes: Dongdaemun / Hongdae
Cheap branded ( Zara, H&M, Who A U, Uniqlo, etc) - Myeongdong, Hongdae
Higher-end brands - Gangnam / Hyundai Department Store / Coex mall

Hongdae is mix of everything. So, I would suggest spending more time at Hongdae.
They have cheap Korean local/taobao clothes, to branded like Bershka, Zara, etc, and also a MCM store in Hongdae
Many restaurants there too.

Noted, will arrange Gwanghwamun first. I took out Chungwadae since it will be too rush and i think its not in our top priority list.
We are staying in Jhill Hotel near Myeongdong shopping street.
Yeah, it seems like the scenery around Cheongyeyeon stream and Dongdaemun is fascinating at night compared to day time.

day 1 ok.

day 2 so rush. I would gladly spend the whole day around hongdae and sinchon. lots of shopping good food good cafes with great coffees and street performances summore wanna go down to gangnam AR. nothing there. that one give plus journey 2 hours but really. only office building sorta

day3 doable for me. gwanghwamun n gyeonngbokgung so nearby. but I would walk to cheonggyecheon from gwanghwamun. tell u what. u do bukchon early morning. dabble back to insadong. have lunch there. then go gyeongbokgung, cross over to gwanghwamun and walk over to cheonggyecheon. then u take bus to gwangjang market. u head down there for live octopus and lots of foods for dinner. perfect day 3 smile.gif

day 4 can do dongdaemun and go to the river. order fried chicken la. they can send anywhere. got rainbow music water from the bridge. and can catch a show? miso is quite nice. so is the cooking one. cant remember the name. but if u go the cooking one put together with myeongdong trip.

the rest all ok

P/S: since u travel to namisan oredi, wanna stop at yongsan to do jimjilbang? Dragon spa is the name. after that u walk around that area. got some really nice spots, pubs, food eatery. serve nice food.

happy holidays!

I made a day trip to Jeonju (being a super huge SNSD fan) just to visit Taeyeon's dad's optical shop laugh.gif
Other than that, they have a Hanok Village there and also some really good bibimbap.

If you want to see the autumn colours, you should really try to get out hiking in the mountains. I'm sure there are some good walks recommended online for the area you're visiting. Remember to take clothes to suit the season. Hopefully you can catch the persimmon season!

Anyone walked/hiked along the Seoul City Wall? I understand there are a couple of sections and around 6 walls enclosing Seoul.

Which section of the trail do you guys recommend? Preferably one with good views of the city and an interesting route.
