anyone here know what is the cheapest deal for wifi egg in korea now? will be renting it for 12 days

or sim card is much more preferable? btw, just 2 person travel
*
the last time i went i booked KT Olleh (their local network service provder)..bcoz its using their local network, so speed no problem at all.

Booked online, just pick up from airport. But upon collection, we have to pay deposit in cash which they will return to us upon returned.

last time i went to this club:http://www.clubinkorea.com/club-answer/

All the clubs are focused in Gangnam area and the one we went is one of their so called most popular clubs..

we paid around RM100 for entrance fee and one glass of Jägerbomb..weekend is RM100 but weekdays is slightly cheaper(fri night is counted as weekend there)

but its really nice experience to party with korean girls there brows.gif and i realised korean people damn powerful in party.

Hi guys, am heading to Seoul end of Feb. Am wondering about the transportation to Incheon airport. Am staying in Aloft Gangnam and flight back to KL is 10am. the airport shuttle 6006 is the cheapest but it takes 1:47 hour to reach airport. Does it really take this long? How long does a car/taxi or even using multiple subway change takes? Looking for alternatives
*
i had morning flights back too last time..was planning to take shuttle/ subway but we have to walk quite a distance to Seoul station. so end up we booked cab from our hotel.

Gangnam >> Seoul Station via their subway..

Then change line to AREX..Seoul Station >> Incheon

Gangnam is quite a distance from Seoul Station..i guess the whole journey will take at least 1 hour 15 mins.

What about a taxi to Seoul station + AREX to airport? How much was your cab from Gangnam to airport and how long did it took? I don't know why google map can't measure any distance within South Korea
*
nope..last time we took cab from Seoul to Incheon straight..As someone said, from Seoul station we have to walk a distance to interchange to AREX, with all the heavy luggages..so get cab straight better.

Is it possible to cover:

Nami island
Suwon folk village
Co ex mall
Sinchon area (ewha and hongik uni)
Lotte mall
Myeongdong

If I only have about two full days, one half day and one half evening?  Or I can actually cover more places haha
*
Very hard la i would say. Travelling to Nami island itself going to take some time already..Plus the time u going to spend there after going that far, and journey back to city.

And myeong dong itself can take u like 2-3 full days to FULLY explore..

Is it worth it to go Nami Island during summer? or should i skip this.
wah. i thought myeongdong mostly just shops  hmm.gif
*
not just shops but also restaurants and also those stalls like night market selling bags, food etc.

And don forget it's not just a single street, there're still a lot junction crossing each other..

it really took us few nights just to finish explore the whole place lol

Planning to go Seoul this May in a group of five persons for 8 days. Haven't plan up any itineraries yet. Do u think it's too much days to spend at seoul alone for 8 days? Should we be going jeju then? What's the best way to travel for a group of 5 - public transport, taxi, rent a car?
*
Depends on ur objective and also who're the people that u going with..If u wanna be those typical tourists, hopping from place to place very quickly..then it might be too much for u..
the last time i went 8 days in Seoul, i think it's nice, i got to visit those untypical tourist spots, chilling while exploring..also spent one night in their clubs tongue.gif

prefer slow and steady...should be nothing much in Seoul, might go Jeju

*
which is why i ask who's going with u..if they are all youngsters, trust me u can easily spend 7-8 days explore so much more about Seoul, slow and steady..

if u going Jeju, best to spend 2-3 days there..which means only 4-5 days in Seoul..

most importantly its situated right opposite myeongdong =)

Hi guys,

I haven't been to SK for like 2 years now. Going in June next for summer holiday. Which is the cheapest portable wifi/egg, preferably from Incheon?

Also, does SK require PIN for all credit cards now? If so, Malaysia CCs come with 6 digit PIN, can be used?

Thanks.
*
not sure about price, but i used KT olleh last time..its good.

btw, its safer and also might be cheaper if u prebook it, rather than buy it there

Hi guys,

I am planning a trip to Seoul this coming December (during Christmas) and I have the itinerary planned out as below:

Day 1
KL – Seoul
Myeongdong
N Seoul Tower

Day 2
Gyeongbokgung
Cheongwadae
Bukchon Hanok Village
Insadong
Gwangjang Market

Day 3
Hongdae
Sinchon
Ewha
COEX Mall
Gangnam

Day 4
Namdaemun
Namsan Park
Lotte Mart
Itaewon

Day 5
Namisan Island
Petite France

Day 6
Gwanghwamun
Dongdaemun
Jongmyo Shrine
Cheonggyecheon Stream
Noryangjin Fish Market
Day 7
Seoul - KL

Is the itinerary workable? Day 2 looks abit too packed?
Are shops still open during Christmas? Any place we must go for Christmas celebration?

We are still undecided to stay in Casa Myeongdong Guesthouse or Philstay Myeongdong. Any suggestion?

http://www.casamyeongdong.com/
http://www.philstaymyeongdong.com/index.php

Thank you in advance!
*
1) your day 1 gonna be a bit too rush..depends what time u reach airport..best to go Seoul Tower first then at night only Myeongdong..its more happening at night.

2) Take note that Gyeongbukgong close on Tuesday. and Gwanghwamun is just right opposite Gyeongbukgong..U can take it out from day6.

*
2500 is enough la, with food and public transport. But if you are a heavy clubber or heavy shopper, then u might consider to bring more lol

QUOTE(kaizer_x @ Apr 9 2016, 08:31 PM)
I'm going next week too....planning to spend rm2000 only during 10days stay..hahahah

Hi all,
Need some advice, if I am arriving at Incheon at 3.20pm, should I stay a night in Seoul first or book a flight to Jeju on the same day ? How long is it to go to Gimpo airport ?

Thanks.
*
3.20 is still early, u can get a flight to Jeju straight as there're very frequent domestic flights to CJU.

it only takes u 45 mins to an hour to GMP.

QUOTE(Nicklly @ Apr 9 2016, 09:09 PM)
it's dongdaemun a good place to stay? convenience for traveller who love clubs?

If u love clubs, gangnam it is. biggrin.gif
