It all depends on your agreement with the kitchen cabinet people or contractor or seller.

1) Seller will get a sub-con to install as the hood company such as TEKA, FOTILE, RUBINE and etc do not provide hood installation service. Hence, there will be additional charges if u request installation from seller. There is no such thing is FREE installation, the seller just bundle in the installation price into the cost of the product.

2) Before confirming a deal with the kitchen cabinet people, you should ask whether they will help install the hood or not? If no, then try another shop. The carpenters are there, they dont need to hire a third party installer. Hence it is possible for them to provide FREE installation. However, they will not hack the duct hole at the wall for you as that should be done by the contractor.

Just change the 13 amps plug to 15 amps plug. No need change the faceplate.

Been looking around, but no clear info so asking this here.

My hood has a 6" vent with a valve going up. I tried installing a 6" duct, but it doesn't fit outside the vent. Inside the vent I will need to fold it a bit since the diameter of the duct is exactly the same as the vent.

How do I approach this? Do I lay the duct meeting the lip of the vent then tape it? Or do I get a bigger duct, place it over the vent and then tape it?

I hope the experts in here understand what I mean. The vent has a slightly thicker lip, and it doesn't fit the standard 6" aluminum ducts.

Usually installer will connected the duct with the end cap (vent) using aluminum tape.

From what i know most brands dont really manufacture their own induction hobs, they outsourced the parts and assemble only. If you notice most brands will be using scott ceran glass and ego heating elements. . . .

I m selling rubine, cheap and good

One thing is for sure, the higher the suction power, the noisier the hood. Read reviews and you will know which is a better brand. Fotile is a tested and proven to be good, just read and google lowyat forum you will know.

Yes. I was told that the quality is food as fotile. Not sure correct or not. But the suction power almost same as fotile. The design also nice especially with Bluetooth function.
