Not sure about teka brand but I bought mine hood (Bosch) for the same price

One thing I just learn that cooking hob that require electricity. I bought a Bosch cooking job and it has to be connected to a power socket on the wall. Without it the hob won't work. Meaning without electricity there is no flame
