Would like to get your opinion. I am currently in the market for Kitchen Hood and Hob. Budget RM2.5k for both. Thinking of going for Livinox Copperplus and Livinox Salix. Any comments on this option or can suggest something better? Is Livinox brand ok?

Planning to buy hood and hob for an open-concept kitchen in a landed house. Budget is 2k - 2.5k and easy maintenance/cleaning is essential for me. I would like to get your opinion. Currently looking at Livinox, Fotile and Rubine. It seems like Fotile is too expensive. Thinking to get either Rubine Sirocco or Livinox Ruby + Eureca. Any comment on this? Or any suggestion to get a better combo? Thanks in advance.

From the installation diagram, it's stated 600-650mm (from pan support of hob) If coupled with Fotile hob GAG86210, it's pan support height = 60mm recommended installation height (from kitchen top to hob) = 660-710mm?
I'm going to confirm my kitchen cabinet dimensions soon, wanted to clarify what's the ideal height for the hob if I go with EMG9035 + GAG86210
P.S Please thanks your colleague who was responded quickly on the pricing for the models requested. Competitive pricing! =)
Has anyone tried Teka Oven's with hydroclean? Is it really useful or just gimmicky?
Am considering fotile, teka and beko built in ovens, 70L. Fotile & teka : pricey, around RM3-4k. (entry levels doesn't seem to have grill function) Beko : in process of research
Any comments from any LY forumers on teka hydroclean and the 3 brands of ovens?

correct pan support is ard 60mm, the diagram is a little tricky and some installer might not understand or overlook it, hence standard for T shape hood we advise from table top to bottom of the hood 750mm

hydroclean will not work on greasy n burnt stain. I have a fotile combi oven with steam clean, tested wont work, u still need degreaser to clean. Cleaning an oven is not that difficult,
For enamel coated ovens, do nt scrub with scouring pad, use sponge instead

I am in the market surveying for hood and electric hob for my mew house. Budget is quite tight actually due to renovation expanses. So can only set less than 2.5k for hood+hob.
I realised the more i read, the more confusing I become🥴
Can anyone please give some advice on my queries below?
1) daily medium cooking. Pyramid or mesh filter better? 2) whats the difference in efficiency between T hood and slanted? (If height mayters, i am sure i wont knock myself on T hood🤭) 3) for electric hob, induction+ceramic or both ceramic more practical in daily use? 4) how's everyone's experience with rubine, senz, livinox? And also their maiantainance and after sales service? 5) does the duct size matters? Coz my new house duct hole is done with 6inch.
**Am considering hood: elba 9088, 9027, rubine boxline Hob: livinox 2318,4318, senz 3200, rubine(heard got new series coming)

You need to check what temp the oven is running for Hydroclean, even Pyrolytic function kills the oven heating element & control board very quickly.
I moved back from steam combi oven to a full size convection oven; as I find the steam combi not perform very well when baking.
I moved from Zanussi free standing oven, to Panasonic Big Cubie and back to Fotile Convection oven; never missed the Panasonic at all
Hello, I have Bosch hood on deposit and wondering if this model is enough to handle not daily cooking(maybe 3-4 times per week cooking) for my 86cm hob. Malay cooking specifically like sambal, rendang etc. Kitchen size is around 300square feet and closed kitchen. Thank you!

Closed kitchen, good enough. But you have to let it run for 10-15 minutes after finished cooking for all the smell to be extracted out.
Opened kitchen, it's not good enough.
I have serie 8 with better extraction rate in my house. Glad I put a door to separate my kitchen and the living room.
Thank you for the clarification! How about the reliability? I mainly chose Bosch for the quality assurance over the suction power which to some can be overrated and unneccesary on certain case. First time buying hood here for the new house
