zheilwane, using your recommended Fotile EH10BQ now, how do I easily test whether it was installed nicely, hence perform good suction?

Why is your socket below the hood? Over time it will be oily.

Circulation will need charcoal filter,  is the hood design for circulation? Check the manual.

It's definitely a hood that has both recirculating and duct function 👍

1) Turn on the hood and listen to the noise, make sure there is no weird loud noise like something is blocking or some rattling noise (something drop inside the hood such as cable tie.

2) GO out of your house and feel the air at the duct to make sure the wind blowing out is strong

If it can support recycle, you need to read from the manual how is it install, and the items list (what included). Sometime installer just install and throw everything, hopefully they keep somewhere.

If u ask me, i get IA90SM, having clearance now, definitely a better buy smile.gif

However, if u let me choose, i go for IA90D as Olive is using mesh filter. If you have friends using kitchen hood, ask them are they using mesh filters and how is the performance

hi guys,

I am planning to buy the best model Rubine hob. Looking thru their website looks like the highest suction power 1400m3/hr is RCH-IA90D-GX for the T-hood type.

Any review on this model? Have not seen anyone mentioned this hood or trying to sell it?

Yes this model is the best T-Hood under rubine. If value for money IA90SM would b a better buy for it is a slanted hood and may be you dont like the design.

IA90D price is too expensive and close to Fotile, so most of my customers might as well get Fotile.

High suction does not equal to better performance but high suction definitely means higher noise level. We are having clearance sales today, u can drop by if you need more info and also better offer.

depending on your requirement.

If cheap, RUbine Hood + electric Hob can get below RM 3k

For performance Fotile EMS9020 + EEG 75201.

Thanks for your recommendation, zheilwane!

At last, I have chosen RCH-IA90D-GX + RGH-TONIA2B-90BL.

I got a friend using mesh filters. According to him, the performance is not good after a while. After I did some homework, I found that mesh filters require frequent cleaning compared to baffle filter.

Here is a simple comparison

Thanks, how much is the Fotile set? Is the exhaust outlet 6" or 7" because I have not open the hole on the kitchen wall yet.

Hi @Chosei,

I am also choosing RCH-IA90D-GX~!, but just wondering what makes u choose RGH-TONIA2B-90BL? Instead of perhaps IA920AT-BL which has higher 5.5(kW)?
