QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Jan 12 2014, 06:01 AM) he didn't dare to take corners. Waaaa... Long story. his car have twice my HP, normally that car will overtake me like nothing. besides, he was slow on the fast lane, i ended up tail gating him, then he give way, and start chasing me... and he did kept up until corners come. the fly over on mrr2 overheading fajar is a long straight that's where he was right behind me for the most part, then once the first bend hit he just start slipping behind. only until the shell/petronas twin stations approach that's where he zoom right past me as if he was following me where i turn out to the residential area (flat housing area near the place i stay) nzh0920 would know exactly where i'm talking about. also his car would be hitting meter limit at that time. while i was having my tires screaming doing about 160-170 barely keeping up with him my wild ass guesses/weak attempt at trying to be a detective: - young guy having gf, suddenly some punk ass proton tail gate, obviously need to show her who's the boss driving a BMW - i'm not worth dealing with at the corners, lousy proton car just willing to go to hell, no reason to risk a bmw accident. - straight coming, must at least overtake this punk, who'd knew punk chicken out, exit mrr2 highway. FLAWLESS VICTORY. anyways haven't dyno yet, will do so asap. not very used to handling such acceleration... the feeling was quite similar to the legacy i test driven previously. not sure it's because of the thrill of having a stick, or maybe it's just a "cheaper" car with lesser nvh/suspension qualities. (like how an iswara could be terrifying at 100km/h while an inspira would feel nothing at that speed =edit= btw, xw20 EO makes acceleration really f***ed up doesn't feel that heavy from stop-go's... of course still can never compare to an iswara but eh... the amount of hp/torque the 4b10 on much lighter viscosity EO can pull is just insane You no drive god car, drive safely. Just started MT, be safe. |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Jan 10 2014, 04:01 PM) bro, need to check with you. sorry late..at that maluri SC, did they write down you bring own oil at your booklet? i called the manager of that sc (apparently is a friend of my SA too as he recommended me that person, and so ngam he is the manager of maluri SC) and he mention can is can, however they will note it down, and if let's say touch wood engine got issue, and they open up showing signs caused by engine oil (which they most likely will point finger to the engine oil lol) then it's voided. (on said specific engine parts that is caused by the engine oil) so is this true for you? personally, i don't see it as an issue since the EO i will be using will be more expensive than proton and is con9lan7fim better with API SN certification. and if got issue, can consider it as an excuse to plonk in 4B11 thought this might be good information to share to other owners in case they get sudden surprises been bz with my thesis.. yes, they did.. anything happens with engine is our fault... haha...send regards to manager..LOL |

QUOTE(edison1437 @ Jan 12 2014, 08:47 AM) how to compare lala with iswara wor inspira being a much heavier car, full stop -> go is noticeable slower. but this issue has been greatly elevated by the engine oil as it revs damn fast lolyour iswara just 3 gears auto some more you can control the gear you desired with your lala QUOTE(K3nnYkl82 @ Jan 12 2014, 08:55 AM) yeah most definitely i do that for the iswara and sentra too *just in case* although so far, both cars also never exhibit any increased engine oil consumption QUOTE(llaw @ Jan 12 2014, 09:54 AM) I'm also using Amsoil but 5w30. Have been using it on my previous ride and just started using it on my lala 2nd service. No complain on this oil. yeah most EO manufacturer will always recommend not to mix or add anything, so if anything happen they won't be responsible. However Amsoil not recommending to add additives to the oil. So I follow it and feed the engine 5 quarts without additives. QUOTE(botack @ Jan 12 2014, 11:28 AM) Wah..really hit meter limit meh? I saw my cousin's meter limit is 260kmh wor..if you're doing 160-170..i think he is not even trying leh. nzh meter only 180 wo...Yeah..0w-20 better check your EO level..since too thin will cause it to drop even faster with how you drive. btw in today modern EO, viscosity is no longer the be all end all in engine protection. honda is already pushing SAE to make xw16 official QUOTE(xi4n9 @ Jan 12 2014, 12:15 PM) yeah, any shit happen i'll probably sleep forever in a wooden box This post has been edited by Quazacolt: Jan 12 2014, 06:32 PM |

QUOTE(carrera_gt @ Jan 12 2014, 03:24 PM) sorry late.. np bro... been bz with my thesis.. yes, they did.. anything happens with engine is our fault... haha...send regards to manager..LOL understandable on that, however so long you know what you're doing and keeping things in moderation, things should be fine btw the manager seems very down to earth, he's ok in arranging a test session with me to solve my problem and they allow me to go observe my car while they work on it even though it's just a simple oil change... get to chat with the mech too haha ended up chatting on EO/performance mods, and how another lala driver got up car'd on wasting 10-15k or more in mods just to get fed up and have everything reverted to stock at this very SC |
